Carbide tips as advertised. very good in concrete. Not a professional but it seems the tip of the bit wears easily. Not much reuse from the bit. I use the 1/4 bit got about 10 holes from the bit before it wore completely

I needed to put holes in ceramic pots my wife put out in the garden, so as not to have mosquitos breeding. these bits worked SO well, went through even the thickest of the pots with ease and almost no pressure.

So far, I've been happy with this drill bit set. It offers a good variety of sizes, making it useful for different projects, and the bits have stayed sharp after multiple uses. I needed to drill some holes in the concrete wall of my garage to hang some shelves, and this product worked perfectly. I believe that a hammer drill would be ideal, but I don't own one, so I used some nails, took an occasional break from drilling, and hammered them into the back of the hole with a hammer to break the concrete a bit. That worked just fine for the few holes I needed to drill. I also sprayed a bunch of water into the holes on a regular basis to keep things lubed. On that latter point, make sure to promptly clean and dry these bits after drilling. I forgot to clean one up one evening and the next morning it was a bit rusty. All in all, seems like a quality product and I think these will last quite a while properly taken care of.

I was spending the last couple of days drilling some holes on the outside of my house for mounting some things and I was so confused as to why I was unable to properly drill through in order to properly mount stuff. After some research I found that the bits I was using were not capable of drilling through the blocks on the inside. Fast forward a couple of hours and I came across this bit set on amazon. As soon as I tried using these it was night and day, I could finally drill the hole I needed. They were easy to use and install on my drill just like any other drill bit. They felt stable and high quality when you want to go through the block they go so be careful you don't go too far. Not only are they great bits they come in a set with a bunch of options for different diameters which makes them a really good value. What more could you ask for? Overall I definetely recommend these for anyone in need of making holes in concrete!

Only used one of these for a simple project where I needed to drill 16 holes. It worked fine went straight through the concrete quickly without with no binding or breaking

On the good side they do get into concrete and they are cost effective. They are not the same as others. I have drill bit from dad that is more than 20 years old. I ended up using it to make a pilot hole after trying this new set that was taking way too much effort. The next size up bit did a decent job of increasing the hold size but still a lot more effort than I used my well used 20 years old bit from my dad.

They look nice in their little plastic container and I've had them now for a few months and finally I needed one to drill a hole in a concrete block and it disappointed me, it could not drill through a concrete block at all. I was attempting to drill pilot holes for Tapcon screws and it went maybe about a quarter of an inch into the block (actually it went through the stucco it never really drilled into the block) and it quit drilling. I cannot recommend them, they might look nice but that's about it. Update: I bought a hammer drill and they work very well with a hammer drill, I don't feel like they should only work with a hammer drill but to be fair they do - I upgraded my review from 1 to 4 stars.

Estás brocas me dejan algunas dudas por lo siguiente. Las compré específicamente para taladrar en un azulejo del baño, para colocar una repisa. Me preparé bien, con un bote de agua al cual le hice un orificio en la tapa para enfriar la broca con agua al tiempo que taladraba. Empecé con el primer orificio, el taladro con una mano y el agua con la otra. Se hizo el orificio correctamente pero cuando saqué la broca me di cuenta de que estaba totalmente despuntada. La punta en forma de flecha ya no estaba ahí. Por lo mismo, era imposible seguir usándola. Así que tomé otra, un poco resignado a qué iba a utilizar una por perforación. Hice el segundo orificio siguiendo exactamente el mismo proceso y la broca salió perfectamente, sin daño alguno. Hice otros dos orificios en el azulejo sin problemas, la broca en buen estado. Después de eso hice otros dos orificios en la pared (no en azulejo) y todo bien. Me llama la atención que la primer broca duró una perforación mientras que la segunda sigue en buen estado después de varias perforaciones. Me parece que la calidad no era la misma, porque yo no hice nada diferente. Ahora me pregunto, cuánto durarán las otras. Pero al final me sirvieron para lo que quería. I don't really understand where such a high rating for these drill bits comes from. My experience: One drill bit barely lasts for one hole. After that, the drill bit tip completely breaks down. Terrible quality.
