Initially seemed good but started to fall apart after 3 months
Update: downgraded to 2 stars...I stand by my original review, however having only had this 3 months, the material on the handle is already starting to peel away. Not good.I bought this bag to replace my work bag that had been helpfully redecorated by my cats. The main criteria I had in mind were that it needs to be big enough for an A4 notebook and that it would be slim enough that paperwork wasn’t going to get scrunched up in the bottom. On the first count, it is brilliant. A good size, holds everything I want it to and does so comfortably. Unfortunately, there is nothing to stop my notebook and paperwork from sliding down and getting all bent at the bottom, so it loses a point there for me. But if you don’t want it for that reason, that’s not going to bother you!In recent downpours it resisted the rain, has some good pockets inside for keys, phone etc including a zipped pocket for security. It’s reasonably lightweight too. So would I buy it again? Probably not due to the paperwork issue (that sort of thing bothers my sense of neatness!), and in light of the fact that it has started to fall apart after 3 months, no.

Not a laptop bag, it has no padding.
I bought this because I wanted a casual bag to put my laptop in, but it isn’t padded. It’s big enough, but you’ll have to be careful not to knock you bag as the laptop isn’t protected. I do not feel that this bag should be described as a laptop bag; it isn’t, it’s just big.
