Chunky
Nice and secure. Only minor complaints are the key can be a tad fiddly, and it's rather heavy, but that's the price you pay for the security it provides.

Very good, still feels new after a year's use
I've been using chain locks for about 15 years, mostly to lock motorbikes. This is perfect for my bicycle. Very well made, finish is excellent, it feels new or nearly-new after a year. It's quite easy to use; this is a good length to lock frame and rear wheel to a solid object. I have always been able to do that with this chain. You might get away with a shorter one, but I like the flexibility. To carry it, I wrap it around the seat post, locking it to my rear rack in a manner that keeps it clear of my rear mudguard. I pair it with a Kryptonite New York Standard U-lock, also excellent. These locks may have a deterrent quality too, because no-one has even tried to steal my bicycle. The only drawback with this chain is that the lock mechanism is a little bit frustrating to use. The internal bolt will engage after only about a quarter turn of the key. It makes the lock fiddly and difficult to use, because you'll be trying to engage the bolt but without realising it, you've already turned the key far enough to have closed the bolt too early. It must happen to me nearly every day. If you had to turn the key further, like one full rotation, to engage the bolt, it would be a lot easier. But this is a small thing. Overall I think it's an excellent chain lock and also good value for such a great lock.

An absolutely solid bike lock thats completely immune to casual bike thievery.
A substantial bike lock that in itself is almost impossible to defeat with bolt croppers, saws, and leverage attacks. It is also difficult to attack with battery powered angle grinders, as it is hard to keep any part sufficiently still to prevent the chain from grabbing onto the blade. 90cm size is just big enough for securing to most street furniture - (just make sure what you lock your bike to is at least as substantial/secure as the lock ;) Slight drawbacks - This one is pretty heavy (largely unavoidable and the price paid for being hard to cut thru, yet still a relatively cheap purchase), in the case of the lock I received, making sure the key was fully inserted and engaged takes a bit of a knack sometimes. Can be pretty confident with these locks, though just keep in mind the main defence here is in having particularly determined bike thieves pick easier targets to walk off with instead.

By far the best lock that I've had
Works well; it's robust; does not get clogged with mud/water (given the proper use of the cover); and its length is perfect for hooking both the bike frame and the front wheel to a lamp/bike rack. If you're undecided between the short and long (90cm) locks, choose the long one. I have had no regrets, given that a shorter one would have been a nightmare to lock onto normal street fixtures.

Strong stuff!
This thing is solid. It must be the bane of every bike thief. Of course like all locks it can eventually be broken into but due to the moving parts and thick metal links, this would be a real challenging lock to break. It does have its cons though. It is pretty heavy but that is as expected if you want a solid lock. The chain can be a little fiddly to actually loop through your frame and wheels. A D lock is much quicker to lock up. I also found that the fabric really doesn't hold up and it will fray over time so don't expect it to look great forever. In addition, the fabric loves to pick up grease from my chain which means 80% of the time I pick it up I get a grease stain on my hand. This can be fixed by washing the chain I suppose. I still would strongly recommend this lock if you want good security for the bike.

Looks and feels sturdy
I wanted to park my new bike in a not very secure area (local shopping centre. Allenton, Derby), and wanted another lock that would at the very least, prove a challenge to a determined bike thief. Now, I'm no expert but this beauty fits that bill. Granted it is heavy, but heavy in this case is good. The chain links are nice and big and chunky, and are covered in a nice cover. Lock takes a little bit of getting used to, but is easy enough to use. Has a nice weather proof cover. Three keys are provided, one with a little light, which is great. Would it stop a professional utltra determined bike thief? Probably not, but it would slow them down a lot (hopefull). Haven't had my bike nicked yet anyway (This maybe because the bike is a cheap as chips model, though:)

Review of reviews: The truth on the lock, the weight and the registration of the keys.
Okay I've read a LOT of reviews on this lock. Let me help summarise for you. 1) The key and unlocking: It unlocks just fine. The key has to pass through one or two elements in the chamber to be fully inside. These elements are what adds to the security of the locking system. Once the key has been gently inserted it will open again and again no problem. It truly is pretty damn simple to use and so far I've had no issues with the key. 2) The weight: Its 2.7 kilos. Its got some weight and is a little heavy but it's not weigh your arms down "oh my god" heavy at all. It feels not much heavier than a light bag of groceries to be honest. I was concerned with the reviews and figured... How heavy can 2.7 kgs really be. The answer is I'd happily carry this around in my bag or on my bike. Yes it's not a mega lightweight lock but it's also not an anchor either. My girlfriend is also buying one and she's happy to use it for her bike too. 3) Registering of keys on the Kryptonite website. My girlfriend had my keys registered online for me in the time it took for me to make her a cup of tea. No problem at all. So that hopefully gives you a better idea of the key, weight, and registration. I spent a few days looking at other locks and honestly, Kryptonite are still the market leaders and the small doubts I had about this from reading the reviews were quashed within 5 minutes of opening and using it. Enjoy this great lock for piece of mind... Remember it's not just the insurance payout you want... You just don't want your bike stolen in the first place. Pro tip however... Combine with another lock and never forget if you have quick release wheels to lock them to the frame. One last point is this locks length. It's long enough for me but if you did want a fair amount of length for locking two or three bikes together you might want a longer version... But with more length comes cost and of course more weight. Ride safe

Au top
construction de bonne facture, cylindre a disques, maillons pas super épais mais devrait être suffisant pour sécuriser un EPDM lors d'arrêts courts

Fajny ale wysłali go bez kluczy.

Heavy but you can trust it
Even though very heavy, I like the way it is build and how it functions. The length is nice for an e-bike.

One of the strongest chains I have found to use in conjunction with a U-Lock
I like the security of this chain, knowing that I can leave my bike in a secluded area for a long period of time only to come back and see the chain has not been tampered with at all. But with security comes weight. This chain is extremely heavy, and if you have to bike uphill, you will have a bad time. However, if you have one of those expensive E-Bikes, it won't matter how heavy this chain is. It will protect your investment well, and the electric motor will do some of the extra work for you! Would recommend if you spent thousands on your bike. Don't get it if your bike is just a cheap old bike.
