Got to say I wasn't expecting much from this but I have to say it works perfectly I have seven different hard drives hooked up to it my keyboard and other items and it charges my phone quickly and my tablet.. it's plug and Play and it really doesn't need to be plugged in except unless you're going to use it to charge something but works great great value

Works well and looks like it’s well made. I’ve only had the splitter hub for a few days, but I like that it is made to last. Only time will tell.

Everything works great with mine. I really enjoy being able to hook up everything with one hub finally and being able to disconnect drives with the push of a button until I am ready to use them is a real bonus. One of the ports is a power only port that I have hooked an old hub to and use it exclusively for charging and powering things like a small cooling fan.

I have a ton of external hard drives, and with the new computer, there are fewer ports than before. Rather than have a bunch of USB hubs, I picked this one up so that i could connect everything in one place. It works great. No loss of data transfer speeds, and the drives always stay connected. On my old USB hub, they would sometimes drop, so I'm happy at how well this works. I got a couple of velcro strips and attached one to the back of the hub and one to my desk so that it wouldn't slide around, but it also has spots to mount it if you want to put it on a wall. I'll be looking to get another one that's USB-C for all the new USB-C peripherals that have been accumulating.

It will go weeks without any problems and then it starts acting up. Disconnect and reconnects like if I was unplugging and replugging it back in. The Windows new hardware sound keeps on popping up and Windows Explorer will open up.

This works really well for app development. I can leave all my phones & tablets plugged in and simply hit a button to connect a single one at a time for testing. I can also slide my thumb down over the buttons easily and turn them all on for mass charging or turn them all off after charging. My 2 iPhones seem to want more power, and keep disconnecting and reconnecting when I have all my phones charging at once, so I just turn them on when the Androids are done charging and I don't have a problem. That's more of a problem of how many devices I have charging at once than anything to do with this USB hub. I've had this strip for at least a year now and not had any issues.

I was hoping for a lot from this product and it delivered everything and more. It worked for both of my MacBooks (Pro & Air). I currently have the hard drive out of my MacBook Air, in an external enclosure, and when starting up the Air it finds the external drive to boot up with. I tried this scenario with a completely different type of device and it did not work. The size is exactly what I expected, the base is pretty stable, and it is nice that you can shut off any of the ports you do not need, or turn them on when needed. The cord length could have been a tad longer, but it works for the moment. I will probably extend the cord on my own. Back to my MacBook Air with the external drive enclosure.... My Air has 2 USB A connectors, one on either side. The one on the left is not working so this unit plugs into the remaining USB A port. This means that without this device I would not have a way to connect any other device, like a USB drive or a backup drive. This item hits each of my requirements and more.

I purchased this product so that I could plug all my desk related cords into it for ease of access, and for organizational reasons since we all know that 6+ USB cables going into a desktop unit can appear unruly. The item looks as it should, and the build quality is good as well. The reason this is 2 star is because of the following reasons. 1. It was advertised this would work unpowered. The one I received does not. 2. The item does not power USB items 'correctly'. I'll be more clear. I have a desktop computer, which I built personally. I have a 1,000w PSU so the item should in theory, be powered by my USB port. This does not happen. When I plug the item in, the lights and switches work as intended, however, this causes 'disconnection' issues for my mouse and keyboard. In the case of my keyboard, it turns off and back on, the system disconnecting it. It especially likes to do that during not-so-ideal times. In the case of my mouse, it micro-locks, so as I'm moving the mouse around the mouse will randomly just freeze. The keyboard is less than a month old, and high end. The mouse is a bit older, but is a known working mouse. The issue is not compatibility as the hub in question is USB 3.0 and every USB port on my machine is USB 3.1. The issue was resolved by me simply plugging my mouse and/or keyboard into literally any USB slot on my desktop PC. I'll continue to use the hub for my mic, webcam, powering of cellphone and other such things because if those micro stutter it's not a giant deal, but if you're looking for a quality product to be a hub to put behind your desk's monitor for workspace hygiene, I'd consider another unit than this. .

Si tratta di una periferica molto comoda che permette di collegare sino a 10 Periferiche USB 3.0 ovviamente avendo l'accortezza di collegarla ad una presa USB 3.0 o superiori. Pratica la presenza di interruttori che permettono di tenere collegate piu' periferiche e connetterle al sistema solo se necessario. Ha in dotazione anche una presa per sola alimentazione ad alta potenza.

Produto muito bom e funciona de acordo com o esperado. Só tem um detalhe que deve ser levado em conta. A tomada é no padrão americano, portanto, será necessário um adaptador para o padrão brasileiro. Chegou antes do prazo.

Bought as I was running out of USB sockets. I really like this and so far have not had any issues. I wish it had 20 ports though.

Sehr gutes Teil. Auch sehr schön und hilfreich ist die Beleuchtung der aktiven USB-Slots. Dann sieht man, was an ist oder nicht, auch wenn das Teil in einer dunkleren Ecke des Schreibtischs steht. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ach ja: Auch die Stromversorgung ist sehr stabil. Man kann mehrere Sachen gleichzeitig laden und laufen lassen: Smartphone, externes DVD-Laufwerk etc. ...
