Health O Meter Bathroom Scale Full View Large Oversize Dial 330LB

This is a reliable analogue scale. I've seen some reviews that mention having to frequently calibrate it, and I'm wondering if it's a lack of familiarity with this type. The needle will have some play with the starting position. This is normal, and has been the case with every cheap analogue scale I've ever had. It's also correctable without having to adjust the dial. How to use: Lay it flat and zero it with the dial. Tap the top a couple times. Rezero it. You're done. Now whenever you go to use it, look at the needle's position. If it isn't on zero, tap it with your foot. You'll only have to do it once it twice. When the needle lines up at zero, step on. Your readings will be consistent every time. Note: I find this adjustment is needed more often when you move it in between uses, but you still won't have to do a lot of manual calibration. The taps work fine. If you don't want to go through that, you're going to have to pay more or get a digital, but even with digital, many will suggest calibrating it with a short press before each use. I'd rather have the analogue, and save on batteries.

I wanted one that was basic, no batteries or electronics and this is exactly what I wanted. It's got an easy calibration on the bottom, easy to read and very stable, I recommend it 100%

I went through 2 or 3 different digital scales. My uncle would stand on it and it would turn off immediately. It worked fine when I stood on it but turned off for him. The problem with the digital scales is you have to stand perfectly still for it to read and wait for it to post the weight. (I learned this through a review) My uncle however has neuropathy and shakes alot. He can't stand still long at all so the shakes were throwing the scale off. This scale is perfect for him. It has BIG numbers. The weight hand shakes with him on it but atleast he can get his weight or close to it and can look down and read it with ease. I hope this helps someone.

I sought out a non-battery bathroom scale, chose this one and I am very pleased with it! I retained my old 30+ year old bathroom scale that is wearing out (the calibration dial is getting wonky), so I could compare the weights obtained from both the old and new scale, and they are very, very close, which pleases me. The numbers on the dial of this Health O Meter scale are easy to read, in my bright bathroom. Since this scale is NOT digital and does NOT have an LED light, no batteries needed! Score! I recommend this scale.

This scale is good if you dont want a digital scale. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because it's kind of a hassle to recalibrate the dial to zero basically before each use. Ive also noticed different readings depending on the floor type (tile vs wood). Not sure I would buy it again.

Ordered 2 of these scales. One was bad out of the box and was returned for a refund. The other one lasted 3 months after very light use and started reading 6lbs low, zeroing out the scale had no effect and was tossed into the garbage.

More reliable than my digital scale that gives me a different reading after two seconds of standing on it and off and back on. Definitely glad to have. Sometimes have to use dial to calibrate it back to 0 but its worth buying.
