BLACK + DECKER GPC1820LB - Pruning saw without Battery or Charger

It's basically a tree pruner. I wasn't expecting the Texas chainsaw massacre but it could be a little bit better. There's a good amount of bounce on the pole and because of this, on thinner branches it tends to dance about a bit rather than the blade gripping. On thicker branches, with a bit of pressure it's fine though. Overall with a learning curve it does what I bought it for and am glad it's in my arsenal.

It has been quite impressive so far, lopping off surprisingly thick branches. Previous experience of B & D equipment suggests that it will have a short life span and it's surprisingly heavy but so long as one treats it as a grown-ups toy it seems quite good value for money.

Not too heavy, battery has good life span, easy to put together, cuts well - have other B&D tools which use the same battery so very convenient (all of which I would recommend).

Only had it a week but so far it's been brilliant. I have nearly all black and decker's 18v range so it made sense to buy this without the battery or charger as I have plenty of batteries any way. I used a 4ah battery in it and did quite a bit of pruning at a fair reach with ease. It cuts through 30/40mm branches with ease. It jammed a couple of times with some thin twigs but not like other reviewers are saying.

Just the job for previously unreachable branches.Cuts with ease and simple to use and maintain.
