As someone with thick, long hair, I’m always on the hunt for styling tools that actually work without taking up so much time. These rods exceeded my expectations and have become my go-to for effortless waves and that Victoria’s Secret blowout look.The best part? They were super easy to figure out, I got the hang of using them on my first try. The people that say the fall out, are not actually using them the correct way. That girl in the video review didn’t twist the rods. You have to cross the rods and then they are in place and stay! You simply have to go almost to the end of your hair, making sure you are holding that section taunt and all the way extended with your arms and start rolling. Tucks that little end in while rolling half way and you’re good. I think the majority of bad reviews are all user error tbh. If you’re planning to leave them in for a few hours, your hair should be about 90% dry for the best results. For a quick blowout vibe, you don’t even need freshly washed hair. Just dampen your strands slightly with your hands, pop the rods in for an hour or two while you’re getting ready, and voila! gorgeous, bouncy curls. In my pictures, I only had them in an hour or two on completely dry second day hair, brushed them out and got a nice wavy blowout look. I’ve also done full out curls too for a Christmas party.These rollers stay in place really well and don’t slide around, which was a big win for me when I’m getting ready or picking up my toddlers toys. They’re comfortable enough for daytime wear, but I don’t use them overnight—mostly because they work so quickly that you don’t need to! The curls also last all day, which is impressive for heatless styling. The key is where your place them. If anyone wants a tutorial let me know!!Overall, these are an absolute must-have if you want salon-quality curls without the hassle. They’re easy to use, gentle on your hair, and deliver consistent results every time. Highly recommend! I’m buying another set!

I eventually learned how to put these in my hair, but by morning time they are laying in my bonnet. with the silk rollers and a silk press just don't mix, I ended up getting the velvet kind and those work much better and the hooks are easier too.

I like them a lot. They are easy to sleep in and are not too tight. For my black sistas, my hair is natural straight (unprocessed, but heat trained) and these are gentle enough for me to wear daily for a nice full curl.

I wanted to love these. I tried to put one in my hair and my hair is so fine it wouldn't hold and it kept loosening by the time I could get it snapped. I couldn't even get it placed correctly and tightly like I saw in the videos. I had to send them back. These may be good for another hair type, but they were not good for very long and fine hair.

My hair is thick, heavy, and past the middle of my back, so curling it with a curling iron can be time-consuming, but I was determined to unlock its full potential. When I purchased the Kitsch Jumbo Flexi Rods, my expectation was that the curls I would see in my hair would be full of bounce and that my hair would appear more voluminous, all while the curls remained intact throughout the day. The Jumbo Flexi Rods exceeded my expectations when it came to curls and volume! All I had to do was spritz my hair with water, section my hair into fourths, and roll my hair up. Time took care of the setting, and after completing a few tasks around my home, I unsnapped the rods, and beautiful curls fell. My only complaint would be that the curls didn’t last as long as I had hoped. However, with some hairspray, I was able to keep the curls for a few hours during the busiest part of my day. Perhaps using some gel and/or other styling products might help keep the curls intact longer. Overall, the Kitsch Jumbo Flexi Rods were a wise investment that helped me unlock my hair’s full potential.
