Upgraded my pizza making with this peel

This combo pizza peel / cutting board is a nice item to have in your kitchen. It's attractive enough to look good if you hang it somewhere where it is always visible. The cutting board side has a nice channel to catch juice from whatever you're cutting. The pizza peel is nice, but it's a little thick. It has a very sharp angle ramp, so it doesn't work as well as a thin steel blade would be to peel the pizza off an oven's rack.

Worked as advertised

Fantastic kitchen tool for any pizza enthusiast! Lightweight yet sturdy, the bamboo material not only looks great but is also durable and easy to clean. The 2-in-1 design allows it to double as a serving board. Definitely reccomend!

This Pizza peel is large and study, plenty of space to prepare a large homemade pizza and is good at getting it into the oven and taking it out. I have read some reviews claiming it's not good for getting the pizza out but this is not a problem for me. I suspect they are trying to use the cutting board side as the peel, the edge of the board is cut at an angle so you can get under things. If you try to use the cutting board side to remove pizza the pointy end of the edge will face the wrong way so don't do that. As a cutting board it's really nice too, the bamboo material is very good as a cutting surface and plenty of space to do whatever you need to.

Though my others are larger and round, think this will be great esp to use to get pizza out of the oven when it can go over the sides a bit no problem as it’s crispy and holds itself up😘 It’s got a rather steep “ramp” to it but seems like it would work great and hold up to the bit of rough treatment they get. We LOVE our homemade pizzas using a 1/4” steel plate in the oven and 550 degrees on “convection roast”… cooks any pizza I can make- even loss of cheese and pepperoni!! In about 5 min flat! That’s if you use parchment btw… to truly use as a peel you’ve gotta stick to lightweight “neopolitan size” minimal ingredient pizzas so you can gather to slide off with a jerk onto the steel! Don’t miss having delivery available at all!!😘

I am using this as a Charcuterie and cutting board. It is solid, high quality, and looks fantastic. I think the thickness of this board makes this less than ideal as a pizza peel. I have no doubts this would work as a pizza peel, but I feel there are better options. I do like that the board has different patterns on each side.

This is more useful as a cutting board and serving tray for pizza, less so as a peel because it's thick. You can slide an uncooked pizza easily into the oven using momentum but getting it out is much more challenging due to the sheer thickness of the board that must be overcome... it's better than nothing. Of course depends on the type of pizza you are baking and maybe a bit of what type of oven you are using. If you don't use this for pizza... then it's a bit on the large size for a cutting board.

This is a great peel for preparing and launching the pizzas into our wood burning pizza oven. It's an ideal size and i love that it have a surface for cutting/slicing pizzas, great multi-function piece of pizza making kit.

Chef Pomodoro 2-in-1 Bamboo Pizza Peel - Cutting & Serving Board is really just an excellent cutting board with a curved edge to act as a pizza peel. The quality of the wood is good and the board is heavy. The heft and the thickness of the board make it difficult to be used as a pizza peel. Other than that, DON'T put it in the dishwasher, as it will start to fall apart!
