Good starter kit
Almost everything you need to get started in home film developing. Further down the line you will find you need more items to make your life easier but this is the best way to get started. You might find you need another measuring jug, a darkroom timer or phone app. Chemical storage/transfer bottles. For colour developing you will need a Paterson colour thermometer (or a digital one) as the temperature will be higher than the scale of the included thermometer. You will also need a dark bag to load your film onto the supplied film reels unless you have a completely dark room to work in. Everything in this kit is fantastic quality. Make sure the tank lid is on securely before you start to agitate. The lid gets easier to push on with use as the rubber softens. Be careful if you want to use the film squeegee, it has to be spotless to avoid scratching your film, a soak in hot water also helps to soften the blades but I'd probably avoid using it altogether and research alternative drying methods.

easy to follow instructions
Does what it says on the tin, easy to follow instructions. I love digital photography but like vinyl, film is starting to make a come back and has some (often overlooked) advantages to digital e.g resolution and storage. For the black white film enthusiast this kit is a no brainer, I use an optical scanner for my negs, and now enjoy complete control. Apart from the obvious money saving, the results are also significantly better than when I used to send off for developing. You will need to buy the chemicals and if you do not have access to a darkroom then a Paterson darkroom changing bag does the job. You can also develop medium format film with this kit!

Awesome kit, but could do with another measuring cylinder
I've really enjoyed using this kit. Everything in it is well built and good quality. The only issue I've had is having to buy another measuring cylinder, as two is not enough if you wish to keep the three chemicals needed ready to go during the process.

Everything I need
It has everything that you need to develop b&w film. Yes it should have a 3rd beaker but I've used one of those cheap plastic graduated jugs. Very happy with it.

The temperature range tool arrived broken and leaking blue substance from the inside

Great to have my own development set. Easy to use and the results have been fantastic !

Kit de qualité et bien emballé. Par contre une série de pinces supplémentaires aurait été la bienvenue ainsi qu’un agitateur pour diluer les produits dans les éprouvettes.
