The Tubing is NOT 17 Gauge
This item is not 17 gauge. I measured the wall thickness with a calibrated Starrett case neck micrometer. This micrometer hasa round anvil for measuring tubular items. 17 gauge is defined as .05625". 19 gauge (thinner) is defined as .04375". The so called"Heavy 17 gauge" Absolute Solutions tubing measured in the range .0390" to .0410". I regret paying so much for this undersizedP-trap.
