As a college pilot, I don’t have over $100 to waste on professional pilot branded motors, and I don’t have enough influence on social media to require the 1% smoother flying that a $30 motor can give me. So these are perfect! Everyone knows these motors are cheap, you’re reading this review because you don’t know how they perform. And boy do they perform well. I crashed my front right motor directly into a steel beam in a parking garage, the arm snapped off my drone, and the motor had a scratch over the “c” in “Eco” and that’s all! I’m on the same set of motors now that I was flying a year ago when I bought them. Not because I’m not flying them hard, but because they just keep going! I have yet to bend, chip, or fry any of these motors, and when they start to sound funky, I just cleaned them and they sound brand new again! They excel in low to mid-range torque, perfect for punchy, floaty, and smooth flying. And they have allowed me to get some mountain road chase footage (very comfortably) at around 45mph on a 4s 100c lipo. They keep themselves relatively cool depending on your build and tune quality. Highly recommend to anyone who’s learning to fly, wants a beater kwad, or anyone who’s realized the expensive motors just aren’t necessary!

Just ordered a set of 4 motors. One of them has a propeller nut that lacks the nylon locking insert. This is obviously poor quality control! I don't know if I can find a replacement nut or use Loctite to secure the nut.

With a 4s, a really fun and punchy experience. Lots of speed.
