Works with all the d-brand accessories
My qualifications: I've owned more rotary tools than any reasonable person ever needs to. Currently I have one d-brand cordless, one of their stylo things, one m12 cordless by the red guys, and one flex shaft with a motor hanging up. This one is replacing my freshly smoked d4000. Of all the ones I ever owned, my all-time favorite has always been the BD RTX. Until some knucklehead as SBD decided to discontinue them. What a shame.Ok, let me get the negatives out of the way first. The lowest speed is 10k, which is a bit fast for certain jobs, I wish it would go down to 5k. This thing weighs a good bit more than my dearly departed d4000. It is somewhat bulky, not something you'd want to be all dainty about with your adorable 2-finger grip with a pinky sticking out. No sir, you want to hold it like you mean it. On the plus side, as porky as it feels, it actually is pretty well-balanced in hand. The overall feel is incredibly solid, good plastic, good machining/molding/whatever they do to make the casing. Rubber overmold is always a telltale sign, and I was pleased to see that it is very nicely done, none of the raggedy clumps hanging off, like you'd expect at this price point. The motor rating is probably legit, at least it feels more powerful than the 4000. Vibrations are minimal throughout the rpm range, but that motor is a howler for sure. Not like need-earplugs-ears-are-bleeding-howl, nothing like that. But maybe don't do any heavy grinding next to your grandma's good ear while she's trying to sleep off the migraine and the hangover. And here's the best thing: you may have heard about this other brand that I've alluded to on multiple occasions here; they've been around for a minute, making these types of tools - starts with a "d", and ends with a "remel" - all of their accessories fit. Both the shaft threading and the nose. You want proof, don't you? See attached photos. That's the d-brand keyless chuck and a nose piece. So, in reality, I'd give it closer to 4.5, but that's not an option, and the low speed being so...high is an issue for me, but I'll make it work.

Not the best one I ever owned
Worked for about 3 days and quit, the switch would not activate the motor. Had to take it apart and bend the switch lever so that it would activate the switch.

Tool pretty much lost its function after 3 uses
Sorry to say this tool is not worth anything as it died within 3 times of using it...the tool will not go faster than 1st speed anymore, and on first use the speed started to "vary" on its own...but it only did that for a few seconds...not no matter what speed you choose it just stays "SLOW"...extra extra extra SSSSSSLLLLLLOOOOOWWWWWW...lol...I would have gotten my money back, but the tool was already used and I decided to just keep the dang thing for SSSLLLLOOOOOWWWWW projects ( i'll probably throw it away soon). Bought a crappy WEN brand one and expected the same thing, but after using that one like 30 times sometimes for 2 hours straight...IT'S still working!!!! I tend to stick with the cheaper brands because I'm finding out that they work just as good if not BETTER than most of the so called "BETTER" ones....SORRY I wanted to like it...but it's a no.
