Why are there holes on top this will let water through it surely?

I think it's to stop it blowing off, but it didn't help, woke up one morning and it was gone. It dips in the middle and holes are closer to edges, I'm not too sure how I would of got it off it it did have water on it as the dirty water on top would then just go through the holes? Or would it be too heavy and rip? 🤷♀️

This is for a round pool so would not fit a 3mx2m pool

Yes, but research what you are buying, the common heaters are about 3kw, given moderate outside temperature you would need to run it for around 48hrs to bring pool to 30°, you might want to check to cost of electricity before you buy one,

Will it fit 10ftx30 metal pool?

Yes it will fit a 10ft pool but perhaps not covering the entire 30cm. Please beware, this cover sags badly into the water. I consider it a risk to small children and pets because I found it impossible to tighten the cord to remove the sagging in the middle. To make matters worse there are intentional holes in the cover which allows water into the sagging middle making it dangerous. If the manufacturer would like to correct me on this statement that would be great. Perhaps I was not tying it properly but I really don't see how I could have prevented the sagging in the middle. With additional weight from either a person or a pet, it will sink further and be impossible to climb out of for a pet for sure but perhaps a child might be able to get themselves out of the middle but I wouldn't like to take the risk.
