PetSafe Deluxe Remote Spray Trainer, 275 m

I have a very lively Springer Spaniel. I spent a alot of time when he was young working on positive recall using a whistle. Lots of praise and treats. It did work to a point but if he saw a rabbit or any other wildlife nothing would get him back. I had pretty much accepted the fact he was going to be on a extendable lead for ever more. I just didn't feel confident i could keep his attention near roads as fully enclosed areas are few and far between where I live. This was bought really as a last resort to try and enjoy walking him a bit more with less stress!The delivery arrived on the day specified and very well packed. Simple setup and instructions.First walk using the collar I used my normal whistle and if he ignored me or ran off I gave a blast on the lowest spray setting. After three or four uses of the spray during the whole walk he was so much more focused, listening to me and regularly popping back to my side. His recall has improved greatly on the whistle and I rarely have to use the spray button. I cannot overdo how much this has changed our lives. Me and my girlfriend are now able to run him properly but still confident we can get him to come back. I wish I had bought this six months ago!

I only just bought this, I live in Kenya so it's not exactly easy to get it replaced or fixed. I just took it out of the packaging, followed all the instructions...IT DOESN'T WORK. It's not even been on my dog yet. The spray function does not work at all. I've made sure it's full up. The battery is fully charged. I am furious. It cost a fortune. I have got through about 4 of these collars on my dog in the UK, for which it worked wonders, but often packed up. We gave up asking for replacements as he doesn't need it any more. But for my dog here in Kenya, who is a rescue GSP and REALLY needs this - what am I supposed to do now?! I can only hope their customer service is better than their product.

Good product that works well on a low setting with a Labrador

We had one of the earlier models of this product when it was only about £70. It was fantastic. However, after years of use we needed a new one and bought the updated version. It's rubbish. The bleep is almost inaudible and the dog - who has always reacted instantly to the bleep on the original collar - doesn't react to this one at all! As we didn't want to only have the spray function, which isn't pleasant for the dogs although effective, we returned the item and are gutted that we no longer have a PetSafe product for when our dog goes hunting in the woods!!!!

If I could give more stars I would! I have a young rescue dog who had become a bit of a nightmare despite dog training classes. His recall was non-existent and I spent half my time yelling his name as he disappeared into the distance. As a last resort, I ordered this product. It was like being handed a magic wand! Within a couple of days I had a different dog. The spray literally stopped him in his tracks as he ran away and he returned to me immediately. I praised him whilst using the tone option to reinforce this.Now (after only a week) I rarely have to use the spray at all - when I call him he stops straight away and comes back to me. He is actually listening to me for the first time in a year. Customer service is excellent.I had to call them as I was setting up the device ( I am useless with new gadgets!). I got through to somebody immediately and she was able to resolve my problem instantly. This product may not work for every dog, but for mine, it is simply amazing!

I have a 3 kg chihuahua and all of the spray collars where not recommended for a dog so small and of course, as per the norm a premium has to be paid when you have anything that is not "standard" size. This is the cheapest and pretty much only one I could find on the market for a toy sized dog.Is this a bit expensive yes it is but does it work? So far so good.I have bought this collar purely because my Chihuahua tends to eat anything and everything out on walks and subsequently often ends up making a self ill and it costs a fortune in vet bills. In view of this I thought I would spend £120ish on something that would hopefully stop her doing this.I cant recommmend this collar highly enough! My dog drops any food immediately and is now at the point of not picking anything up while she is being walked so it's been a roaring success! No more vet bills from her being poisoned after eating mushrooms! It is quite bulky but it doesn't seem to bother my Chihuahua too much once she's been wearing it for a few minutes and I attach a photo to give an idea of the size of it on a toy sized dog.Edit: 3 days after using it it packed up, but fortunately it was an airlock, once emptied and refilled it worked again!4 stars because of the price.

I bought this item as a replacement for the identical collar that I'd had for some years. (Eventually, the spray delivery port failed on my first one due to basic wear 'n' tear!).I decided to go for the same (old) item again, rather than its updated version, since this one can be re-filled from a can. (I was a bit concerned about the cost and inconvenience of the cartridge-refills on the newer version.)Also, for my own personal purposes, the "control panel" on the top/front of the remote control is more convenient than having buttons on the side.Be assured, too, that PetSafe's customer service is second-to-none should you have a problem with one of their products. They've always responded promptly and helpfully to my queries.Again, I'm delighted with the reliability and ease-of-use of this particular collar. I hope that it lasts as long as my original one! :-)

Usamos el llamado 'súper pegamento' y reparamos el bucle. Hace aproximadamente una semana nos dimos cuenta de que la parte superior del bucle de plástico de la mano derecha se ha roto totalmente (ver fotos adjuntas).La relación peso / tamaño del receptor es demasiado grande para que la unidad se pueda sujetar con un lazo de plástico bastante delgado y un collar muy fuerte. Este parece ser el defecto de diseño inherente. Cuando los perros corren libremente con el collar y el receptor, el receptor debe estar a la altura de tirar y empujar, especialmente si el collar del receptor es atrapado por objetos extraños u otros perros cuando juega.Este producto no se fabrica ni se fabrica según ninguna norma internacional de control de calidad / control de calidad. J'ai acheté le collier de dressage à spray SPT-275 il y a une semaine. Je m'en suis servie 1 fois il fonctionnait parfaitement et aujourd'hui impossible d'utiliser la fonction spray. J'ai nettoyé la valve sous l'eau, essayé de vider le réservoir en pensant qu'il y avait de l'air dedans, rien de fonctionne. Je suis très mécontente vu le prix de ce collier. Je m'attendais à ce qu'il fonctionne un peu plus longtemps quand même. je demande soit un échange ou bien un remboursement dans les plus brefs délais.

Après 5 ou 6 séances d'utilisation ne fonctionne plus, je dois donc faire appel à la garantie. Suis déçu car les résultats avec mon animal était probant dès les premiers essais. Je tiens à souligner la réactivité du service après-vente qui a changé l'élément défectueux avec célérité. Je suis très satisfait.
