I use this on my Emerson heater for water, boost the temp when needed and gas takes too long when you’re in a hurry. Easy to set up and works well with the smart app. Have safety timer on so it always switches off after being on for a set number of minutes.

Connected easily to Smart Home app. Using it to switch a fan heater that is too much of an inductive load for most smart plugs lets see if it lasts. Would have been useful to have had an earth terminal to allow to allow continuity of connection without using a separate connector hence only 4 stars.

Have bought two of these and both stopped working within a month. Sent back and will try another brand.

It fitted easily and works a treat happy with the item. For the price was good value. I hope it lasts well.

I bought this to control a 3kW dust extractor with an induction motor that draws a very high start-up current. The cheaper 16 Amp smart sockets don't work with it. It works well and was installed and configured with the TUYA app first time. I can also control it with voice using Google Assistant. My problem with it is safety. The terminals are barely protected and I doubt it would meet the finger access test in the UK. Also no provision for an earth pass-through. I have bought a plastic box to mount it and the earth connector in so it should be safe.Update. Worked OK for 3 months then died. I'll try another brand.
