Buy it. No, don't look at the other cables (I can see you looking), buy this, NOW! Its brilliant. I bought it because I needed a robust cable (I've had a few) and this one is the best. Solid and heavy. I can see you looking at the others - don't - this is the one. Your search is over. On another note, I did NOT buy this to get a vintage tone etc but somehow, you get one with this cable. I don't understand this (Possibly wishful thinking?) but the sound out of my amp (un-adjusted from the last cable) sounds warmer and deeper (I have now put Pure Blues 9-42 strings on and they made it more of a vintage tone). Anyway - recommended.

Caught by the curlies
Fed up with my guitar leads looking like a plate of spaghetti within seconds of plugging them in, I thought I would try a 60's style curly lead. Good enough for May and Hendrix, good enough for me? Well, yes and no. Cheap curly leads are ABOMINABLE! They suck the life (and treble) out of your tone, crackle with static and usually stop working after a few days...thankfully. The Vox lead on the other hand is well made, sounds great and looks like it will last for years. Looks cool too! An excellent product at a fair price. Recommended! It is a bit more pink than red, but who cares?

The original curly-wurly
Along with the 'holy grail' combination of Fender Stratocaster and Vox AC30, your 1960s guitarist needed a heavy-duty signal cable with very firmly attached and robust jack plugs - one straight and one angled so you could have it either way round depending on whether your guitar socket was side- or front-style. A coiled cable was preferred to a straight one in these pre-wireless days to allow for compact storage and for its ability to extend and retract as you capered around stage so you would never fall over it, pull it out or get it tangled with something else like a mic stand. Well here is the 21st Century version - as sturdy and well-made as ever and resplendent in a variety of bright colours as well as black and white so you can make sure that you always know your cable and keep it from disappearing into the spaghetti of conventional cables in a studio or on stage.

Good For Bass - High End is Tamed
I'm using for bass since the highs don't come through. Some people seem to call this the 'vintage tone'. It's a nice tone, but for most applications using a strat, I'd personally want more ring and chime. The build quality is second to none. Bought another (silver) since it was somehow selling here for £19. Much better than dealing with knotted cables. Good stretch and length and not too tight a coil.

Great Lead
After a cheap coiled lead I used for used for a while snapped I decided to spend a bit more for a more expensive one. The quality of the lead is great, the lead is thick, the metal casings on one end a plastic cover on the other makes the lead feel very strong and secure and so far has held it's shape extremely well. also the mesh bag it comes with is very handy, it has stopped the lead from tangling with others in my gig bag saving me a lot of hassle while setting up. Overall a great lead.

Vox got it right
Perfect if you're after a coiled cable! Far heavier than your standard straight cables (heavy is good, heavy is reliable) which I take as a positive sign of the quality of the core(s) - Vox say there are 2 cores, each tuned to improve frequency response and prevent loss of high frequencies. Whilst not as thick overall as other options I feel Vox have got this one right, fairly thick cable but fairly tightly coiled. YouTube reviews, at least the ones I watched, suggested this cable fares better against other brands' coiled offerings in the long run and after a few weeks it certainly seems that way to me. I haven't tried stretching it out too much whilst playing and naturally only time will tell whether it lasts but I'm confident it would, admittedly the moulded angled plug was a little off-putting before it arrived but upon inspection any such concerns are no more. I'm running a fairly long signal chain yet this cable seems to have no degrading effects on tone if used first or last between guitar, effects and amp - I do use it differently depending on mood/situation, sometimes between guitar and effects, sometimes between effects and amp, sometimes even straight from guitar to amp, no better or worse sounding than my 18ft Ernie Ball cables to my somewhat untrained ears anyway (A/B'd just for the lols).

Strong, stylish cable
As guitar cables go, this one is strong, stylish (the white colour and Vox branded plugs look great – someone even remarked on the lead at a recent gig), and it works very well. A little pricey.

Good while it lasted
Stopped working after about 2 months of gentle bedroom use. Better, cheaper options are available.

Great cable, just as depicted.
Just as shown. Cable is a good quality build and stretches and shrinks just fine.

Excelente calidad y producto ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
