Pleasantly surprised
Having never tried macro photography before, I didn't want to spend a fortune on lenses so I thought I'd give this a try. They may be plastic but they are very sturdy and fit securely between the camera and lens with no play. I had an old 55-200 lens with a broken auto focus which I should have thrown away years ago but they pair so well, I'm glad I didn'tI have a lot to learn but having used them for a month, I'm more than happy with the results and my friends on social media are very positive with thier commentsIf you want something cheap and easy to try out, this is perfect for you.

Works perfectly
Works perfectly. Lightweight, but a rattles a bit. Good value for money

Great value - but a Macro lens might be a better bet for you.
The positive remarks of reviewers I agree with. Well made - rigid plastic mounts with metal couplings / contacts, light weight. I am using these with my Nikon Df, D750 (both Fx) and D7100 (dx). Success depends very much on the lens you decide to use with these mounts. This applies irrespective of whether you decide to use AF or Manual focusing. I wouldn't recommend for moving/flying subjects - but creatures or subjects that remain still they will be okay for photos. If you were to buy a 105/150/200mm macro lenses these would move the camera further away from the subject - however , the ability to move away from the subject using these mounts is dependent on which mount and lens. The speed of accurate focus is also affected, light falling on the subject, and the available 'f' stop range can restrict DoF, thus the optimum hyperfocal aperture and the 'Brokeh'. These mounts move the lens closer to the subject not further from it. I find that the 12 and 20mm mounts are the most useable with a standard 35/58mm lens with wide open aperture settings/ auto ISO selected.I also have / use a 40mm Nikon Dx micro and a 105mm Sigma Macro lens. The mounts along with Ring flash complement my Macro kit, and as a separate Macro solution with appropriate lens these Mounts will give excellent results but you will need to practice with lens combinations to get the best out of them for your needs, where'as with a dedicated Micro / Macro lens you just use it !

Quality control needed
Simply didn't work - I suspect a faulty internal connection.

A good product
I thought these were a bit expensive but they are well made and sturdy and fit my Nikon D5300 perfectly and all the focus and metering functions work - though you have to remember that main focusing is done by moving the camera nearer or further from the object so I set my lens to manual. The don't come with a case of any kind so I bought a set of ohuhu lens bags and the middle size fits these ideally. They have a lens cap and body cap but you might consider investing in a few more caps if you are going to seperate them and have the loose one in your camera bag. The instructions aren't much use but using these is simple and obvious.

Attaches to Nikon D3500
These extension tubes did attach to my Nikon D3500 and mostly worked. I did find some complications with some combinations (could not depress the shutter release) but that could by my lack of practice.

Brilliant build quality
Far better than I ever expected for the price, auto-focus still functions fine, brilliant build quality & great fit to camera body and lens. Totally recommend!
