LED-144-ZK Black Adjustable 144 LED Ring Light Illuminator for Stereo Microscope (Black)

I attached this to my scope very easily. It also included a plastic screw-in mounting bracket, that I didn't need with my Stereozoom 4 scope. The LEDs are bright, and dimmable with the knob on the side of the light. The cord had a good length for my needs. The only drawback is that the extra width of this , when mounted on the scope, means that you have less of an angle with which to use tools manipulate what you are working on under the scope. This comes into play when soldering components like I do, and when your scope head is close to the object. However, the brightness and coverage this provides versus the optical incandescent light I was using before is a good tradeoff.

The power cord could be longer but otherwise it’s great for the price. Plugged it into a microscope we use to work on jewelry.

I bought this to replace a dying external light source for a Leica MZ-7 microscope. The lamp was working great, easy to use and bright enough. However the diameter was not large enough (5mm too short), and I add to return it. Great seller and the product was refunded fast.

This product was used for work purposes. It is mounted to a 30x microscope. I have used it and our company inspector uses it daily and it works great. The light it bright enough to see without any glare and our inspector loves it.Highly recommended!
