2 inch putty knife

Just what I needed to scrape the calcium deposits off the walls of a refinished pool. The pool company didn't do the proper job and we get large calcium deposits that come through the finish. This is excellent for that purpose and it's stainless so no rust on the walls of the pool

Used this scraper to remove old paint around the house when repainting some rooms. Honestly, it worked pretty good. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and didn’t hurt my hand even after a couple hours of scraping. Blade stayed sharp enough to get the paint off without having to push super hard. It's small, so great for corners or tight spots. Seems pretty durable too—didn’t chip or bend at all. Nothing fancy, just a solid little scraper that gets the job done. Good value if you're doing small projects or quick touch-ups around the house.

The blade was a little smudged, a fingerprint. It cleaned off easily and is very nice.

Good enough to get the job done.

I lost my very old and very loved putty knife. But, after receiving this, see that I should have replaced it a long time ago. The handle feels so much more comfortable and is easier to use. The blade is super smooth, and edge is sharper, to better cuts on taping and for scraping. I’m going to also get a smaller size for tighter jobs. The quality is great, and is a good value.

Only time will tell if it gives me more than a decade of service like my existing 2 inch putty knife. It seems to be good quality and the ability to pound things with the handle comes in handy. My only criticism is the pricing. I am going 3 stars because it seems to be a good product with pricing competitive on Amazon, but I could buy an assortment of 4 of similar quality and all the same features at a local retailer for roughly the same price point as this single knife.
