I like the laser and that it has a bright flashlight. Its a fun toy and they come in different colors.

When I received these pointers they did not work. After trying to get to the batteries I finally discovered that the end cap where the chain is attached can be screwed off. Very tight fit and hard to remove. I thought I was damaging the device but it did finally come loose. It is very hard to open though. Watch out, the batteries quickly fall out. There is a reddish colored little circle of plastic that you toss away. It's just to keep the batteries from connecting. Once all done, the light works very well. Very bright laser, sort of not very bright little flashlight. I didn't get these for the flashlight feature, just for the lasers. Great price on a pack of 5 of these. They seem to be solid and can withstand being dropped. I would have put more stars if the battery space had been indicated somewhere.

You have to unscrew it pretty much all the way for it to work, and because of this it is extremely easy to have the cap fall off and lose the batteries. Also the ring that attaches to a keychain breaks and bends super easy.

Perfect, bottom button is flashlight ,top button is laser . MUST UNSCREW & REMOVE PINK THING for the batttteries to make contact.

At first I thought they were broken or the batteries in each one were dead. But after unscrewing the end, I noticed a pink-red plastic circular insert. Once I removed it, they worked fine. They should put instructions about that. Hopefully the battery lasts long.

These are great both for your cat and to have on hand in a pinch.

Works great. Comes with a battery seal that needs to be removed. Durable for use with cat. cat enjoys the toy, keeping him active. Many colors. Easy to use with flashlight addition for life use.
