It work perfect and fit perfect too Is not ease to install it requires to remove the whole fuel tank dow wich require 3.2 hrs for a chevy venture 99 to 04 . But by the end of the day it will do the job for many years more

I got a really good "family discount" on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer earlier this year, while they owned the truck they had started getting a P0440 check engine light, so first thing we did was I had them replace the gas cap as thats the most common cause of this issue, I also tested the Evap and Purge Solenoids and confirmed they where clicking like they should but the code would just keep coming back. Once i bought the truck off them I went ahead and replaced both the purge and evap solenoids as they are relatively cheap, but still no dice, I clear the code and it would go away till the next time I fueled up then come back shortly after. I also started to notice I was fighting to fuel up at my preferred gas pump, like if I set the little lever on the gas pump so I didn't have to hold the handle it would keep shutting off after just a gallon or 2 at a time, I was having to sit there and hold the handle just under that level till it filled up. Finally last week I decided to see if the Charcoal Canister here would solve the problem, after spending 3 HOURS fighting to get the old one out and the new one in, because it's such a pain with how it's mounted on that truck, I clear the code, drive to town and FULLY FUEL the truck with it not cutting off until the tank was full using the lever on the gas pump to keep it pumping on it's own, so far the check engine light has not returned, but I need to drive it one more time to be sure, but it's looking like this fixed my issues.

I also got a purge valve with this canister. The problem I was having was I was unable to put gas in my S10 unless I put gas in very, very slowly and if I got it full it would overflow. It was easy to change out and after it was changed, my problems went away. I can now gas up my truck fast and the gas nozzle shuts off.

This fit perfectly on my 2002 Envoy that kept throwing off a gas fumes smell when the original went bad and much cheaper than the parts stores but the same product! Way to go!

This was a great deal, excellent condition item. I appreciate Amazon paying forward perfect condition used or open unused items, which this was. It was IMPOSSIBLE to install, NOT DUE TO AMAZON, but the lousy design of my truck. I would’ve had to drop my gas tank again, which I was not doing at this point of ownership. Thank you very much, Amazon! Thanks for nothing, Chevy! 😆 HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Amazon program!!

It fit perfectly for my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer V8, 5.3L. The part was discontinued by GM and not available aftermarket.

I bought this for my 04 Envoy because based on the engine error code 0455 that indicated I likely needed mine replaced. As I had never replaced it in the 10+ years I’ve owned the car I had my mechanic replace it but it didn’t fix the error code. The evap system on the Envoy has a lot of quirks but at least I can rule this out as being the cause of the code.
