Good value
The best label I've used so far

Good product at a reasonable price
I had bought a pack of CD labels and a CD stomper from Wilkinsons a year or so ago, which came with expressIT CD label software. Wilkinsons didn't seem to stock the labels any more but this pack has an identical label format and works with the same software.

Poor quality and no software
The labels themselves are very flimsy, and prone to tear when being removed from the backing sheet. Worst of all, the web address on the packet, which should take you to downloadable templates for printing, is no longer functional. So you have to find a third-party provider, who is likely to advertise their software as 'free', and then tell you to pay up if you want to use it for more than 7 days, and without a watermark. The one I ended up with gave me Pressit templates, but they didn't quite line up with the labels, so I spent much time trying to adjust them freehand. Altogether a very annoying experience.

Does the job if you read the instructions properly
I had an issue with curly labels, resulting in random creasing, but once I read the instructions, the trick is to pull the backing away and NOT the label off the backing.

Hard to peel off backing
The labels are really hard to peel off the backing paper. While there are guides for how to peel the disc label so that the inner circle is kept intact, there is so much resistance pulling the label off that the inner circle nearly always tears off (and I prefer the "full" coverage when designing disc labels). Once peeled off the labels are very curly and hard to stick on (unlike other versions I've used where the peel is easy and the label keeps it's flatness for ease of aligning to the disc)

Good stuff
I have recently sorted out all my old family photos (I learned a great deal about my family that I didn't know). These photos were passed to me for safe keeping, but as everyone knows they often get shoved into a cupboard and gather dust, and get forgotten, and my children won't know who these strange people are. So, I scanned them all, categorised them, and made a chronology through photos onto a DVD. Added music, and made copies for my whole family. Copy DVD's look awful with marker pen notes. I found these labels, and tried them. Simplicity themselves, load it, pick out what you want on the label, and print. Stick 'em on the disc and hey presto, an item to treasure. Recommended for anything you treasure and want to share.
