Cool after you have assembled it works Good

So I bought this for my Pi as I thought it looked cool. Package arrived with all the parts and extra's. The instructions to put it together were good and whilst might be fiddley for some, I quite enjoyed building it. The main issue actually came after where I just could not get the led strip to work and the raspeberry pi to work. It could have been because I was using a Mac to etch the Os onto it and could not alter the files after or maybe it was something else. I also found the instruction on plugging in the individual pins for the LED strip was unclear as the pin holes on my raspberry pi looked very different to the diagram. I wonder if there was a newer version of the pi released that was different. Overall its build well and looks cool but couldnt get the screen and led's to work for me and connect to the pi.

A very involved build is ahead of you, if you fancy a challenge ? I recommend that if you are a novice that you should watch some YouTube videos before attempting this build. Some very small parts are on the circuit board so a delicate touch and patience is a must. Once completed you can pat yourself on the back and it's well worth the effort. Goodluck

Very tricky to assemble and the ribbon clip broke. So I'm going to use it as an ornament cause it still looks nice and buy a new case for the raspberry pi.

Unfortunately it doesn't come with any manual other than the assembly instructions.

Clear assembly instructions, extra pieces, and was able to get it to work on the first try (and I have big clumsy hands). There were some issues with the lighting and OLED screen scrambling after configuration updates, however the SunFounder team were able to patch the code within 24 hours guided simply by a video recording of the bug in action, which is very impressive. I wish all 3rd party vendors were this responsive. Happy to purchase from them again.

Ich hab schon einige Pi Gehäuse durch - die meisten sind nützlich, aber nicht sehr schön. Dieses hier protzt, mit LED Beleuchtung, m.2 SSD Aufnahme, OLED Display, LED Lüfter, usw. Es ist größer, als es auf den Bilder rüberkommt, und sieht in Realität einfach überwältigend gut aus. Der Aufbau ist durchdacht, alle Teile gehen problemlos ineinander. Um die Features zum Laufen zu bringen, reicht ein Einzeiler in der Shell. Alle Schritte sind genau aufgelistet, die Anleitung ist sinnvoll aufgebaut, alles Top. Voraussetzung ist etwas technisches Geschick, da die Teile als bausatz kommen. Die Montage ist aber meiner Meinung nach auch für Laien mit etwas Geduld kein Problem.

Acquistato per inserirvi il Raspberry che mi gestisce parte della domotica, con le luci accese è un nell'oggetto molto appariscente, La scheda per l'inserimento di un disco SSD m.2 è molto comoda e da la possibilità di fare il boot direttamente da SSD eliminando la microSD. Il dissipatore dissipa in modo eccellente, prima dell'installazione avevo provato vari case ma il Raspberry era sempre intorno ai 60/70 gradi Celsius, adesso non supera i 35. Compatibile con home assistant.
