We love these tempera sticks SO much

This has enough colors to do some real art. Great for ideation or warm ups. You can’t mix the colors.. When you try, you pretty much end up wiping them off. But they are semi-opaque, so you can layer them to be opaque, or layer them lightly to tint other colors. This is where they shine. The set has enough darks and pastels that I think you can render almost anything this way. The metallics and neons are more sheer, which is also good for layering. They blend in to serve as extra colors. I kinda wish the sticks were sharper, but that’s also part of the fun, since it’s just impossible to obsess over details. For loose vibrant fun sketches that don’t waste your expensive supplies, I highly recommend. All the lids are a bit of a hassle tho.
