A very good ONE MAN tent
Being a medieval reenactor I often spend my weekends camping. What I needed was a tent that was small, quick and easy to put up, and light. This tent delivers in pretty much all categories. Featuring only one pole the tent can be put up by one person without any hassle in about 15 minutes once you know what you're doing.I have used this tent through some harsh storms and I was very surprised with how well it's held up. Over the 2015 summer I have used it for around 10-15 nights in total and not once has it leaked or had any damage done to it.Perhaps the only word of caution I would give is that this tent is in reality a one man tent rather than a two man. When adding a large backpack I found the tent to be very comfortable for one person. If someone else was to join it would be a bit of a squeeze. You would be fine having two people in there are no luggage but I would definitely recommend against 2 people with a lot of kit.All in all I am very happy with this tent; it's been through a lot this summer and it seems to be in perfect condition for next year.

Pretty good product, could use a couple of improvements
This tent is really simple to set up. I utilized this on a 2 night camping trip during which I experienced light rainfall for multiple hours at a time. The tent stayed dry with only light dripping around the outer layer vent area (I believe this is caused by the vent flap touching the vent area and allowing moisture to drip down. See picture). The moisture dripped onto the inner layer vent panel but did not penetrate (I.E. no rain in the sleeping area). I ready the comments regarding the narrow area (foot end) and agree that an individuals feet will cause the inner compartment layer to touch the outer layer allowing for possible moisture transfer. I utilized a stick and the attached rope point to obtain additional room between the inner and outer layers, however it only increased the area by a little bit (see picture). Coleman should design an rod system similar to the tallest portion down in this area to ensure the interior remains dry. In the meantime a Y shaped stick will provide some additional room if needed. Finally, as some have stated this is really a 1 person with light gear tent. My gear bag took up all the remaining room in the head side of the tent (I'm 5'8 (176 Cm) and 175 (79 Kg). The area's between the inner and exterior layers can hold items like boots or water resistant items and protect them from falling rain (although not puddles). Overall I am very happy with this tent for the price point.

Quality tent
the reason I purchased this tent was to downsize on the amount of increasing equipment I found I was taking away with me.I finally managed to get away and take my new tent for its first outing this weekend and was pleased at how easy it was to put up. Usually with a new tent it takes a few put up attempts to work out how it is supposed to be in reality and why there are so many pegs remaining. With there only being a single pole and 3 guide ropes the design keeps things simple and intuitive to erect easily by a single person.space inside is more than adequate for a 1 adult (the reason I purchased) but I couldn't recommend for 2 adults. As I was half hoping for a thunderstorm passed over in the early hours and having taken a pounding first thing in the morning I checked and all inside was totally dry. I never noticed any flapping noise during the worse of the storm. only comment is it could do with a hook in the top for hanging a light in the dark. Otherwise very impressed and looking forward to making a lot more trips away with my tent.

It’s not for two
Loved the tent, nice and easy to put up, easy to carry and pack.Inside is cosy so it’s fine for me and my dog and plenty of storage space under the fly sheet to keep your kit dry. However unless your less than five and a half feet and as slim as a pole I wouldn’t recommend getting this to share, perfect for me

Tent poles are super weak
I've camped for years but never used a small 1/2 men. I set it up and both joints holding the poles collapsed and snapped, I had to use rope to keep the tent off my face to get me through the night. The tent itself seemed good and roomy but they definitely need to upgrade the poles. With proper poles it would be a great tent.Updating review to 1 star as seller is horrendous and continues to ask the same questions and will not refund me.

Ideal for the shorter camper
If I was 5ft 6 tall, I would have loved this tent.Sadly, I'm 6ft 3, and with even a comparatively thin air bed it was impossible for me to stretch out fully as my feet and head both hit the inner tent enough to stretch it, and even when sitting on the groundsheet I had to bend my head down as there wasn't enough headroom to sit fully upright. It was easy to set up, with just one set of fibreglass poles and more than enough tent pegs, it took me less than ten minutes from opening the bag to having a usable tent.I bought my tent used from the Amazon Marketplace, and unfortunately some of the seals were compromised so in a heavy rain shower there was some minor leaking. Overall, the tent was okay, but I don't think it's suitable for anyone much taller than average height.

2 man tent, superb quality, excellent buy
This was a birthday present for my husband who likes to go camping on his own with his motorbike. He researched long and hard before settling on this particular model and is absolutely delighted with it. It is a 2 man tent, but he is not a tiny man, so a 2 man tent for one person seems the exact right match. He hasn't camped in extreme weathers with it, but it is certainly water and weather proof, easy to erect and packs up very compactly, obviously on a motorbike space is of the essence. In a nutshell - a great buy, would thoroughly reccomend to anyone. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coleman-Bedrock-Tent-2-Person/dp/B001P80GM8?ie=UTF8&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_47
