This is the first fire grate that I have seen that is not made of cast iron, but very heavy duty stainless steel. This obviously makes this grate ideal for outside garden fires. Also due to BeneLabel's choice of material means that is is a welded together construction of many rods and braces. Usually in my experience in using lesser made similar construction, the welds give way usually due to warping. Although I expect this grate to not do this as it is so well made. Very large. so check your fireplace size if using in the house. I am personally planning to build a pizza oven and design it to suit the grate. I already have the design and plans for it and simply waiting for the better weather. Very good price for such a well made product as well. Very recommended.

Much, much larger than I expected, serves me right for not reading properly, but I still have a use for this other than the one I intended. The grate is of excellent quality, really well made and strong. It will definitely last well if properly cared for. It looks really nice too, if your fireplace is an open display rather than one that has a decorative frontispiece. Although it does not fit in my fireplace, it is very suited for an open pit fire I have outside that needs some ventilation under, so I am happy that I can still use it - but do check very thoroughly that this is suitable for your fireplace before you buy it.

Sehr guter Rost von der Grösse her, sauberer Abbrand, schönes Flammenbild, Asche fält von alleine in den Aschenkasten darunter, sieht gut aus sowohl als Rost im Kamin wie zum Stapppeln von Brennholz vor dem Kamin.

Very well made and sturdy firegrate. I had been using another brand I purchased off here but wanted something a little bigger and this did the trick. It's worked better than expected and fits our fireplace perfectly. I would highly recommend this grate and it's a quality piece.

Nicely made, strong and holding up to weather and heat of a many fires. No complaints, looks nice too

Das Teil ist was für eindrucksvolle offene Kamine, in denen man zumindest theoretisch auch ein Wildschwein rösten könnte – jetzt nur vom Platzangebot her. Daher schränkt sich die Zielgruppe für dieses prächtige Stück naturgemäß radikal ein. Leider gibt’s solch herrschaftliche Feuerstellen nur mehr auf englischen Landsitzen und den entsprechenden Nachbauten in US-amerikanischen Nobelwäldern. Wer allerdings in der beneidenswerten Lage ist, in einem diesen Kaminrost schmückenden Rahmen zu wohnen, der wird mit diesem Teil sehr viele herzwärmende Abende vor knisternden Holzscheiten verbringen.
