The refills are ok.
The blade refills are great! Silicone “rubber”, it has a good feel to it. It does squeak a little near the peak of the wiper sweep and the windshield is relatively dry. It’s a small inconvenience considering it cleans the windshield of water well. There are some quirks to understand. It says it’s four blades. You’ll need two to replace the wiper refills for one car. Second, it’s the size of the longer blade. For the shorter passenger side blade, cut it to length with a scissors. To remove the blade assembly from the car, a flat head screwdriver is useful to pop open the tab holding the blade in place. Tilt the top of the blade towards the front of the car, then pull down on the assembly to free it. At the base of the blade, the side is normally down when the blades are wiping, pull on that end to pull out the blade refill. Notice the two flat stainless steel strips that are part of the assembly with the refill. Further notice that the end you pulled has notches near the end. Further notice the curve of the strip. You’ll need to reassemble the blade with the new refill, maintaining the proper curve of the strip, and the notched end at the base. I had no problem with disassembly and reassembling with these pointers in mind.

Save yourself some MOOLAH!!! easy install and keep factory blades and save money!!!
I recently installed the Windshield Wiper Blades Refills, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with the product. The refills are made of high-quality natural rubber, which is flexible, soft, and durable. They provide a clear view after wiping, significantly enhancing driving safety, especially in bad weather conditions. **Pros:** - **High Quality:** The rubber material is durable and rainproof, ensuring a clear view after every wipe. - **Adjustable:** The refills can be cut to fit the size of your original wipers, making them versatile for various vehicles. - **Universal Design:** Suitable for cars, trucks, SUVs, and more. - **Cost-Effective:** Easy to install and long-lasting, saving money on frequent replacements. **Cons:** - **Installation Challenge:** The hardest part of the installation was pulling the clips without breaking them. Once past this step, the rest of the process was straightforward and easy. **Overall:** I recommend these wiper blade refills for their quality and performance. Just be cautious during installation to avoid breaking the clips. They are a great value for the price and significantly improve visibility during rain or snow.

BAD BAD....AWFUL!
WORST EVER - I am an engineer, and I hoped for the best - but these are the worst. Streaky, noisy and shudder across a wet windshield like a 15yo blade that's been out in the sun. Lasted maybe 4 months or less on a camry lightly driven around 10k miles in the northeast. Needless to say I bought different rubber to replace them. The blades start tearing apart in no time, couldn't believe my eyes. Thought I'd save money but not with these.

Cost effective and fantastic
Purchased for an 03 Passat GLX Both the compatibility and fitment are good, although you will likely need to cut to size depending on your wiper arm length. Take your time when installing otherwise you'll end up doing what I did and wind up having the center of the wiper not making contact with the windshield. The quality is great, absolutely no noise when in use and honestly, compared to spending upwards of $30 for new wipers this is a far better choice. Simple, cost effective and requires nothing more than a small amount of time, patience and a screwdriver to aid with the removal of clips. I can't quite comment on the durability or longevity yet, but when comparing to new OEM these appeared to be much better.

Effective. Install tips below
Worked for me, windshield & rear wipers. These require basic craftsmanship/mechanical skills to install properly. If you want a super-easy quick snap in replacement, buy full blades. Otherwise; Go Slow, Be Careful, Save Money. OEM manufacturers have their own styles of blades, as do different brands of aftermarket blades. Look carefully at the refills on your current blades to see the shape of the ends of the rubber, and the dimensions, to make sure they are similar to the pics shown with the description of these refills. I will only speak to the style I just installed. Mine have the thin, refill-length stabilizing metal strips. When we used to buy refills, the strips came in the rubber refills. This refill does not have them, because you can re-use the strips from the old refills, if you don't ruin them removing the old refill from the blade. These refills come as two pairs, with each pair joined at the windshield side. Do not cut them apart. They separate very easily by hand with no damage if you are gentle. I measured the length vs the old one, and cut the length about 1/4" longer on each end than the original. Take the blade off the wiper arm. Then sit down and install the refill. Trying to do this on the car is a recipe for frustration. There are different methods used to clip the refill into the blade, so you'll have to figure out what you're dealing with as you prepare to remove the old refill. Mine had little tangs sticking out of the metal strips at one end that I had to squeeze together with needle nose pliers. Of course, don't over-squeeze. The short blade on the rear window had one of the grips at the end crimped slightly into the rubber of the refill to hold it in place. This is where common mechanical sense and attention to detail pay off. Feed the refill into the grips with the clip end LAST. The tricky part is getting the metal strips into the appropriate grooves, then feeding the refill into each of the grips on the blade, while making sure not to stretch the refill or move the metal strips too far one way or the other as you feed it through. Double check the position of the strip in the refill before you snap it into place. Make sure all the grips stayed in the rubber grooves, or the unevenness will mess up the rubber's contact with the windshield. Every blade manufacturer had their own cute tricks to secure the refills. Make sure yours are compatible with this brand of refill before you order. If there are any issues with wear, I'll revisit this review. If I don't update it, they lasted fine.

Very difficult to install on my car
Unlike the wiper blade in the description image, my original blade was held a long metal strip on each side and several clips along the length that pinch the blade in the gap above the one where the metal strips are. It took extreme force and strong grip to pull the old one out and even more to install this one. I had to force the blade through all the clips it had already gone through in while aligning it with the next one. I used a flat blade screwdriver to push the blade under the clips at some locations. The ordeal took about 10 minutes. I would not have been able to do it in the cold rain. Once I got it in, it worked fine. I'm pleased that this product avoids landfilling full wiper blade assemblies. I noticed that the other blade on my car uses a different method of holding the blade in place; maybe it'll be easier when its time comes.

Does not fit my Mazda 3 wiper blades.
Did not fit my 2018 Mazda 3 despite showing up in the search results when filtering. The second grooves are too narrow.
