SpeakerCraftAIM7 Three Fully Pivoting High Fidelity In-Ceiling Loudspeaker - Each

Probably the best bang for the buck ceiling speaker I've ever installed. Very clear, decent bass and the rotating basket is a giant plus.

Sound quality is fair. I did whole home audio where I installed 9 AIM7's and 1 Klipsch RCR-5 that I had left over from a previous home that I wired 12 years ago. The Klipsch sounds so much better it's not even funny. I would not recommend these speakers.

Wonderful speakers, have bought multiple sets. These are great. The only reason that I am giving it four stars is because the grill is not held in place magnetically like on yamaha speakers. The grill on these are held in a groove/tension, so at time they get a little loose and come off slightly.

Was building a new house and wanted to add some great, in ceiling, sound throughout. I did a lot of research and was surprised some of the top brands (Bose and JBL...) seemed to have poor reviews and their prices were very high. I continued researching and kept running into the name SpeakerCraft. I had never heard of this brand and I noticed their price for equivalent speakers was much more reasonable and many of the people that commented on the speakers seemed to be audiophiles and installers that had seen many brands. So I crossed my fingers and ordered 12 of these speakers. I think it was the biggest roll of the dice I have ever made. Never mind the cost of the speakers, but I really wouldn't find out how they sounded until my ceilings were cut and they were all installed...very scary moments. I went through the install process...which was actually easier than I thought it would be (nice designed screws, but don't over tighten) and walah, all 12 are installed.It's been 6 months now and I must say, they were a great investment. I'm not sure I could get better sound. I use them for movies, surround, and all around music. Yep. I'm one happy customer. I'd recommend these very highly.
