These padlocks are fantastic — I’ve been very pleased with them. I originally purchased a set of two and was so impressed that I went back and ordered two more sets, bringing my total to six padlocks. I primarily use them on my gates to keep people out while still allowing me quick and easy access. The design is simple: just push a button and they open. You can set your own combination, which is a great feature. Of course, like with any lock, if someone is truly determined to get in, they could jump the fence or use bolt cutters — but in most cases, people won’t go to that effort. The real value is that by having a lock on the gate, it sends a clear message that entry is not allowed, which helps deter solicitors and unwanted visitors. For day-to-day use, I often leave the combination set to the default so I can open them quickly with just the push of a button. If I plan to be away for an extended period, I’ll reset and scramble the combination to secure the property. I use these locks not only on my gates but also on storage sheds around my property. Previously, I tried electronic fingerprint padlocks, which worked well at first, but the harsh sun where I live caused them to fail within a year. Plus, they were a bit flimsy. These combination padlocks are much more durable, don’t require charging, and feel solid and well-built. Overall, I highly recommend them — they offer great convenience, solid construction, and peace of mind.

Have had for a month. Was very happy with ease of setting combination. Took a photo of code and wrote it down. Lock moved easily and well. It did work once. That’s it. Now it’s stuck on my gate, I can’t go in and out, and I’m seriously unhappy I paid for the privilege. I’m hoping the manufacturer will see this and tell me how to get it off when the code doesn’t work. To have it cut off will cost me more than the lock. If I could give it zero stars I would. Manufacturer, if you read this HELP. 7/15/24 UPDATE It’s a good lock. Probably a great one, since the bolt cutters I borrowed not only didn’t cut it, barely scratched the hasp. In my struggle with balancing the lock on gate and attempting to use bolt cutters, all of which was a 3 handed job, I, uh, accidentally hit the BUTTON on the back of the padlock and it popped open, as it WAS DESIGNED to do. Apparently in the month of not needing to open the lock, I completely forgot I had to push the button as the final step. In a half-hearted attempt not to be mortified, I’ll say I’ve used these types of locks in my job for 40 years. It’s the only one I’ve come across with a button. I realized belatedly it’s um, kind of an added feature. You can leave it closed, but with code entered, and just pop the button to open. Someone walking by might pull on the lock (as I did) and it will not open. Especially useful if you go in and out frequently during the day but need it to be both latched for security and seem locked. You too can learn from my idiocy. Take a picture of the code, and make a note you need to push the button after entering said code.

This is a great lock, easy to use and the button to open it is so convenient. Only bad thing about it is someone pried the lock and the shackle broke.

These were great and easy to use. I used them for my PODs and did a great job in the weather outside. They are very heavy and I felt confident using them to lock my valuables.

Bought one of these locks about a year ago for the backyard shed I built. All throughout the rain, winter etc, this lock has endured it all with no freezing in the combination scroll, no rusting, and the lock still unlocks like butter. I bought 2 more of these locks about a month ago and the quality has held up. I have a number of sheds now in the back and my landlord shares one of the sheds. So one lock is set to a combination we both know for easy access.
