WeeSprout 18/8 Stainless Steel Bento Box (Compact Lunch Box) - 3 Compartment Metal Lunch Containers, for Kids & Adults, Bonus Dip Container, Fits in Lunch Bag & Backpack

We've been using this for my son who is in PK-3. I would say that it's very functional. At this point we've used it for the full school year. I had to tape his name to the front of it and I thought that wouldn't hold up, but it actually has. I put a 3X5 card on top, wrote his name on it, and then put packing tape over it. I hand wash it as he uses it every day. I don't think the top is very hard to get off, but I asked him once and he said the teacher takes it off for him. I did buy the version without silicon on it, so it's literally just metal. We had used plastic before, but I feel much better having him eat out of something that's metal. This seems pretty durable and I plan on using it for him again next year.

Edited Review: 5 starsThis is a great company with amazing customer service! After my initial review, the company sent us a smaller version of the large bento box. The smaller version fits perfectly in my son's lunchbox! The different compartments are perfect for a sandwich and 2 sides. Again, the small sauce container that comes with it is awesome! They fit a lot and the silicone top is easy for my 3 year old to remove independently. I love these because they are stainless steel, as we try to move away from excessive plastic use. We will definitely order from WeeSprout again and I would encourage others to, as well!Original Review: 2 starsGreat quality, but doesn't fit in normal sized lunch box for a pre-schooler. Difficult for an adult to open, let alone a child. I would not recommend for use with littles. However, the little dip container that comes with it, with the silicone top, is amazing! My 3 year old can open that and it has not leaked.

I absolute love this lunchbox. The lid initially didn't work well, I reached out to customer service and they fix the issue immediately, I would give them a 6-stars review!

This is super cute. Only downside is it is hard to open for me so my toddler definitely cant get it open

Such a great lunch box! It’s durable but not super heavy. The design flaw has to be there’s so latch so it’s difficult for kids to open. There is a ton of room for food and it’s very user friendly. It is also super easy to clean due to the simple design.

This is the second WeeSprout lunch box I've purchased. I love their durability and how easy it makes it for me to pack my kids' lunches. With this order, there was a dent in the lid when it arrived. I was blown away by the speedy and helpful customer service. Within a few days of emailing about the damaged lid, a replacement lid was on my doorstep. They even followed up with me to make sure the replacement lid had arrived. 10 out of 10 for customer care and a great product!
