brilliant gadget
I have found this soup maker a valuable help in the kitchen. I can make soup in about 30 minutes plus a little chopping time. The thing I like best is there is no mess in my kitchen, just the one gadget to rinse out. So far I have made butternut squash soup and carrot and corriander, both made smooth. Both delicious. Perfectly blended, piping hot. I particularly like the keep warm facility.

OMG bought for a christmas pressy, Its fabulous, easy to use and clean
There is nothing to dislike about product, in fact I'm going to buy one for myself. It made amazing soup in 1/2 hour, no fussy saucepans, then blending and then reheating, all done in one. I can't rate this highly enough.Changed my mind it broke down after 3 uses. Returned the soup maker, cost me over £13, they refunded the cost of the soup maker, but no postage refund . It clearly stated it would still waiting

Best for making soups.
My wife bought this multifunction soup maker and I have to say it is very good for making soup. Just make the recipe and put in the container and it will do the rest. I personally recommend coz for the price I think it’s very decent and saves time to cook. The only downside is you cannot remove the top container coz it is attached with the main body and therefore, makes it’s very hard to wash. I wish it was a removal container. But for the price I think it’s good to consider. It has been months and still enjoying

Great to make soups
Great to make soups, compotes and smoothies. Heavier than expected and not so easy to clean but it remains a good bargain.

GOOD SOUP - BUT
not impressed overall - made really good soup "twice" and burnt the bottom I cleaned it according to the makes instructions but I could not make the burnt section go, I persevered but the bottom section around the chopping blade was particularly awkward to clean - SO I CONTACTED THE DURONIC COMPANY TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANYTHING ELSE I COULD DO, THIS WAS AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME [I THINK] BUT THOUGH IT'S WELL IN TO MID FEB NOW I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM, I GUESS THEY MUST BE BUSY.

Excellent product
Easy to use and makes excellent soup. Throw in all the ingredients, and stock and leave till ready. Better than any tinned soup.

Buy one, it's amazing
I love this machine. I've made delicious soups and smoothies.You have total control with this machine with extra controls to blend or heat. The additional basket means you can separate ingredients that you don't wish to be blended at all and they will be steamed.I have found it easy to clean and had no problems with food sticking at all.It also comes with an insert to make almond/soya milk which I have not yet tried.I also like that you can see the soup cooking. I do in fact sit at the kitchen table and watch it cool my soup for me.

if it worked it would be amazing... BUT..
The soup maker is amazing.... When it works. It heated up and blended the soup, raw ingredients to hot soup in a bowl in 22 mins... HOWEVER... It only worked for 2 times before the heating the heating element went so then it became a glorified blender. This may be a one off, I have emailed them several times but no response... A shame as whilst it worked it was ideal. (Look out for the plastic guard coming off!)
