XT1501 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion Cordless 15-Pc. Combo Kit (3.0Ah)

Great products, easy to use and a great products for the prices. Antenna for radio was missing or either we accidentally threw it away. But bought another one from Amazon and it works great. Great quality and battery life. My husband loves all his makita tools. Being cordless makes everything so much easier to get things done.

I bought this kit because I had to set up a new workspace and was unable to take my old tools with me. It covers nearly all bases for general work. Sadly no nailer, sander or jig saw, however it did come with two impacts. I've honestly gotten more use out of the smaller one thus far. Also includes 4 batteries and 2 chargers. The batteries are only 3ah, but that's only been an issue with the angle grinder thus far. It all comes in one large box and everything is packed individually inside. The box is not discrete, so don't let them drop it off at your door. When you're comparing this to the similar Milwaukee set, remember that Makita is power-to-weight king. And if you have women or old men in your shop, their wrists will thank you.

While these tools are still nice, reliable, powerful, and efficient, Makita doesn’t tell you that these set are brushed. Gave it a 4**** for not adding that information. It’s almost deceiving but I understand it from a business side. Makita to me is still the go to. For daily DIY projects, these brushed tools are enough. Would have been nicer if they were all brushless but still can’t go wrong with Makita.
