I have never done anything techy like unscrew the back of my laptop to 'operate' on it before, but this battery was really easy to attach and has been running smoothly ever since! I bought the battery several months ago now, so its so far so good.It came in a very smart box with a basic instruction booklet and links to online videos to help with the installation. I watched the videos once all the way through, then had them on at the same time as surgically removing the old battery and putting in the new one. It is definitely VITAL to then go through the proper procedure to sync your new battery to your laptop by following the video's instructions. I panicked a little at first when my laptop didn't turn on before syncing as the battery is supposed to come with a little charge in it, but mine didn't. Once I'd finished worrying that I'd broken my laptop and would have to buy a new one, I left it to charge for ten mins then turned it on and it worked fine, so I was able to then begin the syncing procedure.Really prompt delivery and overall I think this battery is well worth the price.

Certainly my choice of replacement battery manufacturer over the years. I'd be naive to think NewerTech actually make them but they seem to have found a source of very high-quality batteries. The inclusion of the type of specialist screwdriver that will be needed to get the old battery out and replace with the new one is great. It's like a medium Phillips cross-head, except it has three 'wings' instead of four, bit like the Mercedes symbol without the outside ring.

Excellent battery, easy to fit, and works fine. On a previous occasion I tried a different make which would not work so I tried this and it was fine. I've used my laptop constantly for about three years since, mainly sitting in a dock, and my touchpad became unreliable due to battery expansion. I don't blame the battery, more the heat it has been exposed to in the dock so I had no hesitation in buying exactly the same again.

Good quality and has helped in prolonging the life of my old MAC. I can see getting atleast another 3-4 years of use from a MAC which was bought in 10 years ago. The packaging came with all the bits needed to replace the battery (screw drivers). The instructions in the pack were easy to follow and there were links to video presentations if needed. Once the battery is replaced please do not forget to calibrate it to your device. The instructions for doing so can be found on the company website.
