I read Culinaria Spain at my friends house. It was a large book with not only amazing photos, information and recipes, but would also sit very nicely next to my Claudia Roden collection at risk of sounding pretentious. And so I hurriedly ordered Culinaria Spain. And the large book I was expecting had been shrunk into a standard sized cookery book. Everything is there, but I find it almost impossible to read because the type has also been shrunk and is so small it is, on many pages, almost impossible to read. And at almost £20 this is not acceptable. My advice is that this is a 5 star book. No question about that. But do not assume as I did that all Culinaria books were born equal. Look out for the large one and enjoy a sensational book about this amazing country and it’s amazing food.

I read this book in Spain, it was the hard back version. I ordered the paperback copy which I found smaller in the print. Apart from that this book is so interesting, telling you all about the specialities of food/wine in each province and some good recipe's too.

I am very pleased to have finally bought this book.I had previously seen a friend's copy.I t is much more than just another cookery book with lots of information about Spain and the many regional customs and recipes.The illustrations too are of a high quality.This is a thoroughly recommendable book..
