An excellent purchase
This was a money-saving buy. I used it to decorate a gingerbread cheesecake for a friend's birthday. It was delicious on the cheesecake. My husband used the rest as an after-dinner treat. He enjoyed the softness of the ginger; the taste was good too. He said it also helped prevent an upset stomach after he overate.

Ginger Perfected
Perfect snack if you like ginger! Yes, it has sugar but barely any compared to some brands. The pieces are also a nice size and the perfect texture.

Looks Good But it’s a Bad Quality
Please don’t buy this product is bad it looks good on the picture and it even looks good in the bag BUT this ginger is hard and stringy! And it taste awful. I really bought it by mistake because the reviews were bad in the first place and now I’m stuck with a 3 pound bag of disgusting ginger. I bought a smaller bag earlier and it seemed to be OK and then I re-ordered and please take my word for it. It’s hit and mess with these guys and you may get a few good ones for the most part if I could’ve gave him a zero I would have I need to find a way to flag them because the picture looks so beautiful even when it gets to you it looks beautiful, but I wouldn’t do it!!!! I normally don’t write reviews, but this ginger was so bad that I had to warn you because on food they don’t wanna give you a return!. Please don’t do it. You’re going to regret it.Remember you can’t return it!A picture is deceiving so I didn’t submit one.

Tastes artificial
I bought the 1 pound bag and the ginger had a great, natural taste. I replaced it with the 3 pound bag and it has as artificial flavor to it. The only ingredients that are listed are ginger and sugar so I'm not sure what could cause that but it might be why there is the CA Prop 65 warning. I don't see why sugar or ginger would require that warning.

My favorite ginger!
Thank goodness this is back in stock. I tried 2 other ginger products during the last 6 months it was unavailable and neither compared to this brand. It actually tastes like ginger..not just a sugary gummy product.
