Brilliant for ecg monitoring and stylish
I bought this watch after a particularly bad bout of AF that landed me in A&E. in truth, I wasn’t expecting much, given the price but it looked a lot more stylish than some watches which look and feel like tyre treads on your wrist. I was really surprised at what the watch can do and the ease of using the associated app on my phone. Yes, the strap is a bit cheap looking, but it is supple and comfortable if you feel the need to wear it 24 hrs per day. I’ve had several complements on my new watch and nobody actually realised it had so many functions. A fact I like as I’m not really a gadget person. I only bought it out of necessity for the ecg function.I wanted to monitor my irregular heart rhythms. The watch will record 30secs of ecg when the programme is activated and you can then view on the app, which will save the recording so you can replay, forward to others or print. On a second admission to A&E I was able to show the ambulance crew what had recorded before they arrived. My cardiologist was also really impressed with the quality of the print outs that I took to clinic with me of various times over a couple of days when I’d had arrhythmia. He couldn’t believe the price either!Probably the only downside is that you can’t monitor your heart rate just by looking at the watch. You would have to have your phone with you.I’ve no doubt there maybe other expensive watches out there that would be better suited to those who do a lot of sport. I’ve not used the fitness elements associated with the watch, apart from step count and unlikely I would do so, therefore it’s unreasonable for me to comment. The sleep observer is interesting. I’ve only slept with the watch on for a few nights but it was interesting to note my various sleep patterns.

The ECG function is useful as is the sleep function- I have fibromyalgia, it helps me to pace myself
Like this watch, find it useful and it is a nice looking piece of kit, so can be worn all the time. The sleep score is useful for helping to ensure that I get enough proper rest in the week, and allows me to plan for when I will have energy for more activity - I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome

I recommend it to all aged people
It's a great budget for aged people, I bought it for my mum, she enjoys it a lot, check the steps number many times every day, make sure she has fulfilled the goal. Sleep tracking, I'm able to see how her sleep is every night. Battery life, I bought it 5th Aug, til now, the watch runs well. backed up a battery for her, so well for aged people, don't have to charge the watch do often.

Fantastic bit of kit
I bought this on the advice of my doctor to record episodes of racing heart beats. Whenever I feel this happening I can take a 30 second ECG and save the cardiogram to send to him as a PDF. It's incredibly useful for someone like me and this function is the reason I bought this watch.I also like the design of the watch and the clock face. It does a lot of things my fitbit watch does and I can track my steps, activity, sleep and heart rate through the app which is clear and easy to use. The watch is comfortable to wear and not too chunky for a ladies wrist.I'm really happy with this purchase! Thank you, Withings!

Good ECG. Poor design
Bought solely for the ECG, which is good, as is the activity tracking (I previously used the Steel HR) Numerals of the timepiece are too small. Larger, simple indicators would be better. The activity/ECG dial is too large, and the pivot of the indicator is too close to the pivot of the timepiece

Results not printable
Very disappointed that I can't print off ECG results, otherwise ok. Will send it back if I can't work this out. Instructions not very helpful.

Reasonable priced health watch
The watch is fairly easy to set up and use and has lots of extra features and health advice that the customer can access. I use it to record an ECG and was able to email a pdf version to my GP. It also confirms to the Customer that may be the heart rate is not quite as it should be. Very useful if you actually need this function. I also use it to record the number of steps I take daily and has many other functions.

The life of the watch? Surprise!
I have awarded the watch full marks for the first 15 months I had the watch. I bought the watch December 31 2019.I replaced the original battery April 2020 and that battery lasted until April 2021. Since then I have replaced three batteries but the watch did not perform as before. For the last fortnight the hands have a life of their own in other words the watch is not working. I would like to replace the watch but not if its life span is only 15 months.Follow-up.Great News: After many attempts I have the watch working again as before. Great watch. Deserves 5 stars plus 1.
