Switchable, Versatile, and Durable.
👆😇🤔= My Honest Thoughts about the HAFOKO Aluminum L Bracket are that it is Switchable, Versatile, and Durable.Pros:Versatility in Mounting:The HAFOKO aluminum L bracket offers exceptional versatility, allowing seamless switching between vertical and horizontal positions. This feature is particularly beneficial for users working with devices like Zhiyun Weebill S, Crane 2, or Crane 3 Gimbal Stabilizers on monopods or tripods.Easy Installation and Adjustment:The bracket's design prioritizes user convenience, making it easy to install and assemble. With the included Allen wrench, users can effortlessly connect the two separate pieces or use them individually. The simplicity of the installation process ensures a hassle-free experience.Durable and Switchable Design:Crafted using durable metal, the switchable design of the bracket allows users to maintain a consistent setup even when changing angles or perspectives. Whether capturing footage in a standard or portrait orientation, the HAFOKO bracket delivers a reliable and adaptable solution.Additional Weights for Balance:The inclusion of two screw-on weights is a notable advantage for users employing gimbals or other equipment. These weights assist in achieving optimal balance for a gimbal or rigs that need counterweights, enhancing the overall stability of the setup. The option to fine-tune balance is a valuable feature for photographers and videographers.Cons:Incomplete Package:Some users may find that the package lacks completeness. For example, while the product is supposed to include two locking screws, it may only come with one. The absence of one of the locking screws for attaching the bracket to the camera could be a potential drawback. Users may need to adapt by reusing the included screw in both configurations or by sourcing the missing hardware separately.Ruler Markings Discrepancy:Despite the product images suggesting ruler markings on one of the ends of the mounting plates, the actual plate might not have these markings. The main base plate does have ruler markings. However, the side-mounted plate does not. This discrepancy between the advertised features and the delivered product could be misleading for some users.Final Thoughts:The HAFOKO aluminum L bracket stands out as a versatile and user-friendly accessory for camera stabilization. Its switchable design, easy installation, and provision for additional weights contribute to its appeal. However, users should be aware of potential discrepancies in the package, such as missing locking screws and missing ruler markings. Despite these minor concerns, the bracket offers a practical solution for achieving various shooting angles and orientations.Note: Further testing is needed to estimate the overall durability of the HAFOKO aluminum L bracket.

Works on the Weebill 3
Purchased this as I've been trying to shoot video in vertical mode on my Zhyiun Weebill 3. While the Weebill 3 does offer a Vortex mode which can shoot vertically, manuvering the gimble becomes difficult with the way the gimble shifts its position. I was looking for a vertical mounting plate that would allow me the full range of the gimble while simply holding the camera vertically as opposed to horizonally. My biggest concern was that the plate wouldnt fit the Weebill 3, but after installing it works and fits just fine. My only comment is the screw that is provided to attach the camera to the plate does not properly fasten. Hand tighting is not an option with it. But instead I used the screw provided with my Weebill 3 and an allen wrench to secure it tightly to the plate. Balancing it after that was simple and I tested the mobility of the gimbal afterwards and found no problems. Would highly recommend.

Mediocre quality, but Adequate
These a somewhat roughly finished, but that probably shouldn't be a surprise given how cheap they are. The main base plate seems to be roughly powder coated, with the plate still having some minor milling remnants. Nothing dangerously sharp or in the way of secure mounting, though. As well, the measurement markings are just a light laser etch, so I wouldn't expect them to last for long, if the paint ever wears away.Paint also fills some of the thread holes, so expect a rough time when you first try inserting the included screws. Just go slow, back out the screw after advancing it every millimeter or so to loosen the paint, and it should be fine after blowing it out. A drop of oil or even WD-40 might also be helpful during this cleaning process.Last complaint is that the vertical plate seems to be too thin to even allow the 1/4" screw adapters to secure the plate to your camera, so you'll need some sort of spacer or washer to fully mount your camera to it. Otherwise, even when the screw is fully tightened, the plate will be loosely flopping around, making the bracket practically useless.Overall, I'm not really sure what to think about this set. I think with some patience and determination, you can make it work if you're on a tight budget. It's fine as a beginner's adjustable quick release plate, but beyond that, I'm not even sure I would recommend purchasing it as a cheap spare. If you're trying to use this for professional work, sure you could make it work with some ingenuity, but if time is money, then I probably wouldn't waste either on this unit.At least the included screws and counterweights are well machined.

Great plate!
I got this to use as a vertical plate mount with my Pergear ball head. It fits the tripod ball mount perfectly. The mount is well made however the finish is not as good as some of my other mounts. It just feels a little more granular. This should not affect the functionality. It also came with a couple of counterweights which will be used on another rig. Overall it seems fine for my use. Five stars.

Fits well on my GH5 on a Zhiyun Crane 2!
I love that this makes it easy to go vertical on a gimbal! I hardly ever use my gimbal bc the IBIS is so good on my cameras, but when I do, it's because I have really thought out the next planned shot for a project. With all that planning, this gives an easy option to think about social media and vertical video shots.Great quality, looks good and feels good. Fits gimbal and camera perfectly.Easily 5 stars!
