Data Blocker, 3-in-1 USB Data Blocker, Protect Against Juice Jacking

These were recommended for an upcoming flight, easy charging, easy to use, connecting is simple, really great valve.

I travel quite a bit, and find the need to charge my phone in public places. For obvious security concerns (as we often read that hackers can steal your info over compromised public area connections), I make sure to add this data blocker to my charging cord, as added security. We have so much information on our cell phones, and keeping our data safe is a priority to most, if not all of us. I feel that this device works well to protect my information. I read somewhere that to test devices such as this, attach it to your personal computer, and you will see that the computer doesn't recognize your cellular phone. I did so, and indeed, the computer did not recognize (or "see") my cellular phone.

If you travel, this is a must have keep people from taking over your phone had no issues with my iPhone charged it perfectly

USB-A or USB-C chargers in public places are so ubiquitous now that carrying your own power bank is sometimes optional. However, I don't use these public USB chargers directly due to potential juice jacking attack. With this product, I feel more comfortable charging using these public USB services. With the additional features of having USB-A and USB-C connectors, it is very versatile and at the same time very portable.

BEWARE !!!! - NOT RATED FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL. Yes, this worked fine in the USA- but I bought this for a trip to the UK. Come to find out, this DOES NOT ALLOW CHARGING ON UK USB OR AMSTERDAM USB. This item blocked charging in airports, hotels, trains. So Im left with the choice of a dead device or plug into a public port and get juice jacked. This was crazy frustrating because I planned to avoid this exact situation!! By the time my trip came around, the return window closed. DO NOT BUT THIS FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL !!! THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK.

I have several different types of chargers and this makes it easy to just have one data blocker instead of multiple. These do not fit in smaller spaces. An example of this would be in the charging port in front of the gear shift in my sister's car. The area is too small. That is one thing you need to consider when purchasing..

Apparently these data blockers are safe to use and they work at stopping any data transfer. My only minor complaint is the the male USB C ends are way too short If you have even a thin, light weight protective case on your cell phone, it is highly unlikely these ends will be long enough to securely fit into your cell phone's the USB C port. Just keep this in mind. Other than this, I would recommend them.
