Red Hat RHCSA 9 Cert Guide: EX200 (Certification Guide) Review: Worth every penny - I passed!! Read it cover to cover and do every lab. Review: A Fantastic Reference - A fantastic, clearly-written book for the RHCSA. I have a few IT books, and I think this is the best of them all. Crystal clear explanations and certainly comprehensive of all RHCSA objectives. I want to give special attention to the chapter on containers, which seems like a tough subject to write about. Not only do I feel conceptually very clear on fundamental containers concepts, but I’m able to deploy rootless containers without issue due to the chapter’s logical explanations and examples. If you’re intimidated by certain Linux concepts, this book will guide you one step at a time to competency.

The Gold standard for a reason
This is the gold standard for RHEL training and certification. He has earned that title for a reason. Learn what is needed to pass the test AND what is needed to actually work with RHEL

To the point and worth every penny
The book is an excellent source for learning and studying for the RHCSA exam. While this is, and should not be, the only source for exam prep, I would say that this is at the top of the list. The book offers access to the Pearson website with additional content and a few videos that are extremely helpful. The concepts are easy to remember and the author even provides instructions on how to set up a small practice lab. The book arrived on time and was extremely helpful in focusing studies on the RHCSA and the administration of Linux systems.

Covers pretty much everything I needed to know.
Some stuff is very slightly out of date, but that's what happens with computers and books. Very easy to google when needed.

There are SERIOUS errors
Although most of the important information is in the book, you will find yourself wondering how you got certain questions wrong in the Review Questions or in the Do I know This Already Quiz. Chances are you will also find that sometimes the so-called 'correct' answers in the back of the book are wrong. Oftentimes, much of the information you will need to know in the book will need to be verified using some internet research. I don't expect Mr. van Vugt to be absolutely perfect. However, I have found *numerous* errors in my study. Be forewarned.
