Godsend for printing.
Within a very short time indeed, I became more than a little tired of removing and mounting the build plate on my Anycubic Photon 4K. I mean, it's easy enough with a single screw release, but it does mean that I can't do anything else while I'm washing the models and cleaning the plate. So, on a chance I bought this product. It does kind of replace the existing plate by sticking to it - the cushion pad adheres via a sticky layer. But, you get a removable magnetic plate. With two in the pack it is now somewhat more efficient to remove one plate with models on it, attach the second plate and set the printer off to make more. Meanwhile, the plate you just removed can go into the wash.It is also much easier to remove models. The plates are flexible, so you just need to gently bend it slightly, and the models come off all nice and simple. No more scraping, no risk of damaging the build plate, and no risk of damaging the model if the scraper slips. Much. much better solution. Now, you do need to be very, very careful when attaching this to your existing mount. It must line up properly, and you don't get the option to slide it around to fit. Once it's stuck, it's stuck. So, a deal of care to line up the edges before attaching. Removing and attaching the magnetic plates is simple and easy. There are two lugs projecting from one side of the plate which allows you to grip the plate and remove it. The models stay stuck to the plate provided you are not too violent. They are the same size as the original build plate but with these two small projections.Once the pad is fitted, leave the magnetic plate on and go through the printer zero process. There is several milimetres added to the build plate so it is important that you set the new zero level. Provided you have aligned the plate properly you won't have any issues with interception or catching on the resin tray. It does also add a little volume to the build area, this means that it displaces slightly more resin than before, so you need to remember this when topping up the vat. If you fill too high, you may find the resin flowing over the edges as a result of the increased volume. It's only a couple millilitres so nothing that will have a detrimental effect on build volume. One side of the magnetic plate is smooth, this is the side that attaches to the magnetic pad. The other side has a striated texture very similar to the original build plate and this helps adhesion for models. Try not to get the plate reversed as you don't want your model falling off part way through a build.I've had these working for a few days now, and it is extremely useful to be able to print more frequently - one printing while the other is washing and curing and so on. I get more done in a day, and it doesn't take so long between print runs.In my opinion, this product was definitely value for money as it has made my life easier and increased efficiency. The metal plate, magnetic pad and the fixing agent are all very good quality and I have had no problems so far and I've run around a dozen print jobs since these arrived. You will need to clean the plates after each use as you don't want a build up of resin on either side. But where you can place the plate into the wash with the models, it's already rinsed off. After that it's a simple matter of a soft cloth or soft absorbent tissue to polish off the last of the residue and the plate is ready for the next use.Good quality, reliable, decent price and an increase in efficiency. Worth it.

This changed 3d printing for me
So easy to remove the flexy plate and the models from the flexy plate without having to apply pressure and re zero the build plate. Glorious invention

EDGES NEEDS TO BE DULLED DOWN
Warning: sharp edges! This plate works great with my M3 Plus. The adhesive is strong given its applied properly per the instructions. However there is one major drawback, the sides of the plate are RAZOR sharp. Cut through my gloves and gave me a small paper cut. Fortunately there wasn't a lot of resin on it but a nasty surprise. This is easily fixable with 320grit sandpaper > 800 > 1200 on the sides to make them smooth and dull. Takes 5min to do. Once that's done its a bliss to use and well worth the investment!Would be fantastic if Sovol QC fixes this at the manufacturing stage which would make this a 5/5 product.

To stick but not to stick
I have an Elegoo Mars 2 printer and from day one have loved it, however getting the prints off the build plate can be a PIG.I have a flex plate for my FDM printer so thought I would get one for my Mars, and came across the Sovol flex plate - I already have the Sovol VATS and going by the quality of them I thought I would give the flex plate a shot.So glad I did, initially I ordered the wrong size initially but soon got that replaced. So where to start, I cleaned my entire print head in 99% IPA, then gave the print bed a good sanding to rough the surface up to assist with adhesion of the magnetic plate, after the rough up I cleaned again with IPA.I pealed the backing off the magnetic sheet, lined it up and stuck it to the build plate, I then left it on a flat surface with some weights on the top of the plate and left it over night to allow it to stick well and truly. The following day I put the steel flex plate onto the magnetic base, I had a nice little pinch on my finger where the plate snapped to the magnet so be careful. The plate is very secure on the magnetic base and doesn't want to move, however using the little tabs will come of when you want it to.I don't know if its needed or not but I do it on my FDM flex plate, but I roughed up / lightly scratched the surface in random directions with some wire wool that came with the FDM plate.REMEBER you MUST relevel the bed following the manufacturers instructions for your individual printer, in some cases you may need to add a spacer for the Z axis sensor, in regards to the Elegoo Mars 2 the sensor is not needed, just make sure you loosen the nuts fully before leveling.Once levelled I put a Solov VAT on the printer added some resin and went to print, I ended up with a grinding noise, so removed the print end and releveled, did this a few times but kept getting the grinding noise, when looking the print bed had moved so it was tilting up at the front. Strange. So this time I turned the flex plate round so the 2 little tabs were to the rear, re levelled and tried again, SUCCESS seems with the VAT in the correct place with the thumbs screws in the dimples on the VAT the print head isn't dead centre and the TABS were catching on the VAT, Tried it with the original VAT and it was the same the TABS need to be at the back of the build plate. Nice easy fix.So how did it print? apart from the relevelling I changed NO settings on the printer and set it of to print an adaptor for an Airsoft RIF, 56 minutes later and I have 2 adaptors firmly stuck to the flex plate, gave them a push (wearing gloves) and they were firmly stuck to the plate, grabbed a tab to remove the plate as as I pulled the plate off, one adaptor popped off into my hand, the other stayed on, I gave the flex plate a slight bend and the other adaptor popped off.cleaned and dried the plate and stuck it on the printer ready to go.In conclusion: very easy to installed, excellent adhesion properties for the prints, strong magnetic stick and the prints pop right off when needed, already recommended to my father who has the same printer.

Needs work but not bad
I would highly recommend roughing up these plates and thoroughly cleaning before use. Adhesion wasn't the best until I did this. Mot as flexible as others but work well enough.

Make life so much easier
Got these for my Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. Easy to install (leave 48 hours weighted to ensure adhesion of magnetic sheet to build plate). Re levelled with it installed and then off I went printing. The steel plate grips the bed sheet fine and the tabs make it easy to remove once the prints complete, print adhere fine I’ve had not failures so far. The prints just pop off the steel plate. No more trying to Chisel them off the build plate with a scraper. Makes removing prints and clean up super easy now. I would highly recommend these.
