Shakmods 8 Pin PCIE GPU Sleeved Extension Cable 30cm + 2 Cable Combs (Red)

Brought this as my Corsair cables on my PSU looked pretty unsightly and this has made my pc look much cleaner and works as it should. Bit pricey but it seems very well made.

This came packed in a plain white box and was in good condition when it arrived. Setting it up is easy as the connectors are well made and the combs move easily along the length of the cable. All the sleeving is perfect and I found the cable easy to bend. For anyone wondering, it's 26cm long with the other 4cm being the connectors. All in all, they are a bit pricey, but still decent value for the quality.

Bought this to extend my existing GPU power cable, as I was tired of seeing a double-connector with only one port plugged in! This works perfectly, and looks brilliant. I was sceptical after seeing reviews complaining about cable lengths being different, but when the connectors are perfectly parallel this issue disappears. The easiest way to counter it is to make sure the ends of the connector remain parallel after install (mine is installed in an S shape) so each cable follows the same path and the same distance. Looks so good and have zero performance issues.

This is my second set of these Shakmod extension cables and they're top notch. Standard PSU cables are generally really ugly, and with a windowed case, totally spoil the aesthetic. These look great and are also constructed really well. I'm using them with a RX9070XT GPU and have had no problems with the connections or power draw at all. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars, is that this second cable I received came without the cable combs that were pre-installed on previous ones. Not too much of a problem for me as I've got spares from my original build, but maybe something to watch out for.

People saying that their cables are kinked etc don't understand how to properly bend the cables, if you make a "C" shape with ANY cable in this stacked configuration the result will be loose cables towards the bottom or top of the bend. Simply opt for an "S" shape bend and there will be no room for slack or a "kink" in the cable. These are the highest quality cables I've found on here and I've used about 5 different manufacturers. Just don't be dumb and consider the laws of physics when positioning your cables 👍

Great cables, just the job as extensions to tidy up the look of the build. I would have liked to see one more comb on there as just two is a little stingy in my opinion. Nice finish, look great and mean no shonky daisy chaining on the power to the GPU.

Perfect! This PC I built came with a non-modular Power Supply and this just helped it look a bit less messy!
