Is this operation easy?

Super convenient and easy to install and use! I bought and installed the automatic door along a week or so ago. very happy with it. The chickens happily put themselves to bed each night and get out in the morning once the door opens.

Does this solar power can work in rain-day?

During snow storms/days without sun there is little to no power being generated. I would have a back up door and/or alternate power source.

Does this door really protect the chickens?

This door is a life changer, helped me protect my chicken and saves time. Because the fox had killed my chickens. It takes a lot of time to take care of the chickens, but now I don't need to worry about the predators anymore and I'm tired of doing it the manual way.

Does it need to be charged frequently?

No need powered by solar. Solar power really helps to save money and long time use. Make sure to charge it before the first use and that it is level on your coop.
