Great tasting cheese

I like this cheese, it is not too strong but has flavour. Great in a sandwich, I’m just putting it in whole-wheat rolls for lunch.

Nice creamy texture, good flavour with a long lingering aftertaste,

great cheese being on my own I froze one until I needed it & tasted just as good - my 4 year old Grandson said it was yummy when he spent the day with me & I did him crackers & cheese & asked for more highly recommend !

I tell anyone that will listen cheese sold in Supermarkets (particularly what is described as “mature cheddar”) is a massive con. I realise this cheese isn’t cheap, but that’s because it’s the real deal! It is therefore paying the extra for! I’m old enough to remember having mature cheddar cheese that tasted EXACTLY like this as a kid. You have to hunt it down now. Just glad I’ve found some. Don’t be conned, buy the real stuff, not the mass produced rubbish.

I have bought two blocks of the 'supposed' extra strong cheddar cheese and have been greatly disappointed. Yes, it was reasonably tasty, but a fully mature cheese it was not to be had! Every cheese I seem to try masquerades as as mature and seems to have been opened up too early. I am quite willing to buy a descent cheese if only I could buy one! I am 80 years old so maybe my taste buds are wearing out!!!!!!!!!! Years ago my local corner corner shop used to save me the (Spar) cheeses that had blown in the bag. Now that was a cheese to die for!

I don't go to supermarkets but needed cheese in a hurry.It was surprisingly good.
