great way to restore and old Epi 7 unit. Works like new!

I've had this for a couple of months now. The old epilator head on my Braun epilator was getting slow and clunky. I was thrilled to find out when browsing Amazon that instead of getting a new epilator (something I was considering), I could reduce e-waste by simply getting a new head for my Braun epilator.As other reviewers have said, it does take a couple of minutes to get the head on the epilator when you first set it up. You might need to try it a few times, but just go carefully, patiently and slowly and it'll be easy. Make sure it clicks in snugly. This is not something you want to be doing when you're already running late, for example.I've been using the replacement a couple of months and it's been fantastic, no problems

My epilator wasn’t working as well as it used to, so I figured it was worth it to just replace the head and see if that made a difference. It sure did! It’s like a brand new epilator and I didn’t have to spend $100. I am very happy with my purchase.

When the heads get old, the hairs don't pull as well, which equals more pain, longer epilation, and is overall no bueno. This head worked like a charm. It's like having a new unit again.

This was too wide for the Silk-epil 7. It would actually fit into the epilator, but the cover wouldn't fit on it because it's too wide, rendering this useless. Back to the search to find the correct one.

I am sooooo happy that they are now offering just replacement heads for the Silk-Epil epilators. I was ready to buy a whole new epilator for over $100, but with this replacement head, it only cost me $32.45. It works much better than my old worn-down head, and took way less time to deforest (!) my legs. Definitely invest in one of these if your epilator tweezers just aren't doing the job any more.

Ive struggled with unwanted facial hair since puberty and have dealt with the hassle of shaving and waxing. i was afraid of the epilator, until I found this brand. Sure, its no secret that it hurts, but if your grit your teeth through it, it will takes seconds to remove that hair Ive been buying replacements every other month, as the blades dull with use. This product has lifted my self esteem. i would recommend lathering aloe gel on your face after elpolating.

At first I thought there was a problem as the new head would not click into place. But you just have to keep trying. When I was putting the original head back on the silk epil it didn't click right in either. Gently try again and it will eventually click in place good as new. Now you don't have to buy whole new epilator when tweezers lose their edge. Just don't panic if it takes a few tries to get it to snap in place.
