Excellent for using 2 additional monitors with MacBook Air M2 2022 and Windows Laptop
I recently bought MacBook Air M2 2022 and discovered that I can not use 2 additional monitors unless I have a specialised docking station with "Display Link" technology. Secondly challenge was that I use Windows Laptop for my daily office use. So I had to find a docking station which could be used with both Windows Laptop and MacBook Air M2. After searching internet for few days, I found this Plugable Docking Station, I was initially little sceptical but, when I setup the docking station, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, ease and perfection of this gadget. I can easily use this docking station with both my Windows Laptop and MacBook Air M2 with 2 additional monitors. I use 1 USB-C cable which works with both Windows and MacBook laptops and can be easily switched between them in seconds. It might be little expensive but it is worth every single penny when it adds convenience and performance in your daily desk work life.

Good for M1 Macbooks
I'm using this with an M1 Macbook Air. Since with M1 MacBooks, more than 1 monitor is not supported but with the help of this dock, I've managed to use 2 monitors without a problem. All you need to do is install DisplayLink software and that's it. The only con is, it can't charge from the Macbook, but I don't mind that really. Haven't had any disconnection problems so far, and hopefully not in the future.

Great for M1 MacBook Pro
Purchased this for its Displaylink support, this enables you to run dual external monitors on the M1 macs which is not natively supported (at time of writing this). Great product, works really well, no noticeable latency when running two external monitors in extended mode, all ports work as expected. However, as noted in the spec this dock will not charge your Mac.

This was unreliable
At odd times it would lose the devices connected randomly. This is fine if you are not constantly using them but when you have monitors, mouse keyboard all connected it is extremely unusable to keep rebooting the device to pick them up again. Otherwise the product is fine for light use

Great for M1 Macbook dual monitors, otherwise get something cheaper
The first thing you will notice about this product is the price. It is £160, which seems a bit ridiculous for what this unit provides. The unit comes well packaged in a strong sturdy box, it is very nice to see particularly with such an expensive product. As you would hope, the build quality is excellent. It has nice smooth connectors and quality cabling. The exterior even feels nice to touch. It also looks like professional equipment that you might see in a design office. Top marks all round. These are my main likes and dislikes for this product:Like:Top-notch build qualitySimple-but-stylish designSmooth connectionsMeets the stated specificationsDual 4K 60hz monitor supportM1 Macbook support for two displaysDislike:Very high priceNo PD laptop fast-chargingNo HDCP support (needed for copyright media)No memory card slots—----------Performance is overall good, with everything working to the specification. You will have to download software to get full laptop integration, but it’s free from the website. So what we have here is a very high-quality hub, at a very high price. The reality is that the many cheaper docks available can do everything this does, for half the price or less. Its ability to use two monitors with M1 Macbooks is one area where it has an advantage over the cheaper hubs, as most will not support this. Apart from this I can’t think of a reason not to go with the cheaper alternatives.Overall it’s a nice piece of design that is not worth the asking price.Note: I am giving it four stars for the Macbook users, otherwise it is three stars only.

Works great especially for running 2 screens with MacBook on m1
When I realised that the M1 macbook didn't support 2 monitors I was annoyed. But thankfully this device allows you to use displaylink to add as many as you like. Very good device, bit expensive though.

Good product, but
Due to its technology used, streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime videos cannot be streamed on the browser without switching off hardware acceleration in the browser settings.

Works sometimes, other times dual monitors won’t respond and keyboard lags.
