Not worthwhile
Solar charger doesn't charge as well as advertised even though we live in the UAE. Summer seems to keep the battery topped up but in the winter where there is stilll reasonable sunlight it is useless.

Fits well, looks good …just… doesn’t work
I really wanted this to work. I’m having to swap my batteries at least once a week now. Even with a new battery. So, I thought this would help.I tried it first on the main door. It didn’t charge. So I moved it into the sun and the charging message came in, so I thought, great! Now it will keep the battery topped up.I was hoping to decrease the frequency of charges, if not avoid them totally.Nope that didn’t work, same drain per day, even though the messages said charging. So, I thought, maybe it’s not in the sun enough? I saw a lot of reviews praising this, it must be the sun?So, I removed the whole assembly and put in out in the sun. Directly… at least here there would be no excuse for not charging and topping it up.Nope…. The charge fell from 85% to 80.It just doesn’t work.Am returning this.
