Nice glass bottle and sprayer but I couldn't distinguish this from normal water
This product is sterile filtered pacific ocean seawater from microalgae cultures, and that's it. The photo of the front of the bottle is the only information given so I assume that the only ingredient is the sterile water. There is no expiration date so presumably there is no microalgae left in the water, but I'm not sure. In my eyes, it's basically just sterile water but it's possible that there are benefits that I don't understand. I used it on both my face before applying moisturizer and on my hair before applying hair serum, figuring that the oils in those products would help to seal in any moisture. The water did not have any odor and I did not notice any results that would be different from applying plain water. I also did not have any negative side effects. The water comes in a nice glass bottle and the sprayer delivers a fine mist, so I'll likely use this to set my face after applying makeup since my skin is so sensitive that I can't use standard setting sprays. I am deducting one star because I don't think it's a good value but I don't feel right deducting stars for it basically just being water because that's clear from the description.

PYRO Sea Salt Spray, I’m into it!
In an attempt to understand this product better, I visited PyroFarms to find that they offer this one skincare product along with things to grow your own bioluminescent algae. Very unusual! What this PYRO product seems to be is sterilized Pacific seawater and microalgae extracts (although the microalgae itself has been removed). It has no scent at all and feels refreshing, quite literally like spritzing water on your face. I both love facial mists and am Southern California beach born, so as weird as it is, I really like this product and it’s getting a full five stars from me. The only thing that would make it better is if it smelled a tiny bit like the sea. I love the idea of using clean seawater as my toner and will almost certainly be buying more of this when I run out.

its just water
so if you read the actual process they describe on the product, its just purified water...seriously, it says they take "special" water, then they add new minerals and algae and then... they purify and sanitize it.maybe im crazy, but from my understanding and the items i use at home to sanitize, this is just really complicated RO water that used a UVC bulb to sanitize it

Waste polluted aquarium water
From what I can deduce based off of what was in the description, the company takes sea water from the pacific. By a means of filtering that still leaves behind the salt (carbon maybe), they make it suitable for the microalgea they later add to it. At some point, the microalgea are harvested (I presume for other purposes). This product is made from the waste water left behind. When they say "microalgea extract" they mean the algea waste. They remove the visible sediment with a second filtration cycle, hit it with uv light sterilization to kill off any dangerous bacteria floating around, stick it in a glass spray bottle, and there you go. This stuff is algea poo water, or more accurately, waste polluted aquarium water. Before anybody gets too grossed out, remember that if you've ever stepped foot in the ocean (or really any body of water) there is definitely poo in there. People rave about how good they look after a day at the beach. I'm not going to say it's because of algea poo benefits, but that "just got back from the beach" wavy hairdo most definitely has poo in it. Sorry everyone, it's just science. As far as the spray, my meh rating has less to do with what it is and more to do with the description seeming purposely vague to me. They use elusive language to describe the product and anecdotal claims to describe it's benefits. It comes off like they are just trying to make an easy buck off of what would otherwise be a waste product.

I don't get it
I'm always interested in new beauty products but after testing this one a few times I'm still confused about what it is... It's sterile filtered seawater, so that makes it water. It looks like water and feels like water and I was expecting something different, maybe salty or beachy scented like a facial toner but there is no consistency or odor. The box packaging is really neat and the bottle has a fine mist spray top with lid. It lists no ingredients or how best to use it on the actual product itself. Maybe there are some special benefits I'm missing but so far it's been a nice spritz of water on my skin and I guess that's hydrating anyway. Not a good value. Upon further investigation this company specializes in bioluminescent algae, maybe this is the recycled water they use for farming their pyrodinos? It's all a bit strange but now I can say I've tried it.

salty
This product is nicely packaged in a 4-ounce glass spray bottle that has an excellent fine mister. The product page says that the water's been sterilized: "PYRO Sea Salt Spray contains filter-purified (sterile) Pacific Ocean seawater used to grow marine microalgae (Pyrocystis fusiformis). All the algae are removed, and the water is filter purified and UV sterilized." This seems to be at odds with "PYRO’s microalgae-based skin care products contain isotonic seawater and organic microalgae extracts." I'm not sure if this means they remove the algae and then add some back in or not; it's a little confusing, and we might end up, really, with just Pacific Ocean water here; it does taste a little salty. It almost seems like it's homeopathic in that the tiniest little amount of microalgae remains (or has been added back in after sterilization) but it's been diluted; PYRO would do well to clarify their product description and resolve the algae question. Bottom line: the spray bottle's great and the isotonic seawater feels good on my skin.
