I wasn't sold on beef liver supplements when I first started taking them but now I'm definitely a believer. I'm not sure about everything they're reputed to do but not long after I started I could tell that my energy level had improved dramatically. I felt like a million bucks and was downright unstoppable. For some reason, I stopped taking them for a few months and definitely started to feel like I was dragging. I won't make the mistake of stopping again. These are very good quality capsules with no taste or smell. They're gluten free and are free of all sorts of nasty stuff (artificial flavor and color, artificial sweetener, preservatives, etc.). On top of everything they're sold at a very nice price point--you get 250 tablets for what some supplement brands charge for 100. Very highly recommended!

Saw several videos on the importance of consuming Grassfed Beef Liver, so I thought I might try these. I started with two pills than increased to the recommended 6 pills a day. After a week of taking this quantity I noticed my hunger started to increase later in day, but nothing else.

This seems to be a good quality desiccated liver so far.- Capsules are easy to swallow- No odd aftertaste or ill effects- Price/Value is excellent- Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (however I haven't seen the COA yet)I haven't had any problem taking these, but I'm only giving 4 stars for now until I have a chance to view a COA from the company for this product. If/when I receive that, I'll revise my review accordingly. And I do have one caveat ...I overlooked something with this supplement. Each serving contains a hefty dose of Black Pepper Extract. Had I caught that info, I would NOT have gotten this. If you take ANY other supplements with Black Pepper Extract (BPE), sometimes listed as BioPerine, included in the ingredients, be very, very careful you do not exceed 15-20mg of BPE a day TOTAL. There's been a big bandwagon of supplement makers in recent years including BPE in their products to "increase absorption." But this added BPE showing up everywhere in everything causes a potentially harmful *cumulative* effect. If everyone puts this in their products, you end up getting far too much daily BPE cumulatively (which again, should never exceed more than 15-20mg a day).Secondly, BPE is *not* necessarily healthy, only GRAS (generally recognized as safe). It actually irritates the stomach and destroys gastric epithelial cells, and it's a potent gut irritant potentially causing gut permeability, even in smaller doses. BPE also causes a potentially dangerous increase in calcium concentration. And despite being touted for its ability to increase bioavailability, it actually *reduces* absorption of Beta-carotene and Vitamin E and can cause a loss of potassium. This is really NOT something that should be added to ANY supplements. It should be left to the consumer to buy and take separately if they want to try it. So if you use any supplements with added Black Pepper Extract (like these liver capsules), keep a very close eye on your TOTAL daily BPE intake and try to keep it under 20mg a day.

I don't know for sure if liver supplements do anything. I try to follow a carnivore diet, but I really just don't like the taste of liver. Some liver supplements sell for crazy prices. This one is much more reasonable (I got it for free to review, but I mean compared to other brands). It's got the GMP seal, so it's probably not just junk inside. It has an odd smell if you smell inside the bottle, but I don't taste anything different from other capsules. If you're trying to add liver to your diet but don't like the taste, these might be a good alternative for you.

I don’t rate supplements until I’ve taken them for long enough to know their effectiveness. I just feel it’s deceptive to other customers otherwise. After finishing a bottle of these I can say that I definitely observed a noticeable increase in my energy level after a couple of weeks. Mostly in stamina which was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been able to do more activity for longer periods of time such as gardening, without tiring out as quickly. I’m in here now to review and to buy another bottle! If you’re in your 40’s-early 50’s I’d definitely recommend these.
