You will not be disappointed. Works perfectly.
I have tried a few different routers, extenders, etc all with mixed results. Either spotty signal, or speeds that were much lower than what I was getting directly from the router. This system has fixed all of my problems. I have one continuous WiFi signal. I don’t have to switch between different routers even though I have a two story house and a detached garage that is a fair bit away from the house. The speed is actually higher than what I get from the router I was given by my internet provider.Set up was pretty quick and easy. I did have one small issue at first. Connection between the units was dropping but I learned that if you change the settings to turn off the WiFi signal coming from your own router and set this as it’s own access point, it works perfectly. No problems since.

Really a Great system if you understand it and know what you are doing.
I brought this unit someplace else because I needed a router in a hurry. I really love this system despite the flaws. It's strong, Long range and fast. What I didn't like is you think you are buying one thing but you are buying something else. This when purchasing this system you think you are getting a "mesh" with a Daisy Chain topology. When this first came out you got a "Mesh system" that used star topology which means each node or satellite connects with the router. Later on Netgear updated to the allow Daisy Chain topology. which means each satellite connects with each other.Granted under star topology your signal is diminished less than daisy chain because under dual band each hop or node that the signal goes to lesson the signal by 50%. under tri-band it''s more like 10 to 20%. which is minimal. So under you do get a stronger signal because there is less nodes to lessen the signal. (i hop) your router to node.what upsets me is Netgear has a choice to enable daisy chain but you can still be in star. because Netgear makes the choice for the best path and topology for you.Granted for my house this is a little over kill by house is 1600 sqf and a mobile home. But my roommate built a wall to block off the livingroom and his room is behind another wall (the original) for his and his son privacy needs. I must admit throughout the whole house in star topology I'm getting 300 mbps to 370 mbps. I also get 5 g at the end of my driveway at about 80 mbps to 100mbps. so I am happy. This router also has beam forwarding and mimo so it's great. Reading review after I review I feel I made the best choice for performance. I don't like the fact that I can't make this thing go in daisy chain whenever I feel like it by clicking a radio button. I have heard if I move around the nodes it will change and one time it did and it still was great. I just like to test things for myself and let me be the judge not some machine.Based on what I understand if you are going to buy one of these mesh systems get yourself a tri-band (like this one) it dedicates a whole channel to the backhaul which minimizes signal loss. (Thats if you don't want to wire your nodes together) Over all I like this I'm not rich anymore so I don't have a 3000 sf house but from what I hear it's very good in that kind of environment. for my purposes I really like this. it's dependable and fast and powerful.

interesting experiment, but returning: has kinks to work out
I was attempting to replace an Asus firewall router and a Ubiquiti AC Pro access point with this. I didn't purchase it through Amazon, and will be returning it in a few days. It's got an interesting feature set, including a few things that I'd like, but it didn't stack up well against what I'd had previously. I tried it first in its typical architecture, where it had a primary firewall role, and that seemed pretty unstable in our experience. A couple times a satellite would get locked up, beyond any self-healing, and that didn't endear it to the family. Was using its ethernet backplane feature. Then I put my Asus back in charge of firewalling, and put this in access point mode, just trying to use the mesh for WiFi purposes. That was a PITA to configure and get everything happy, took a couple hours with Support, but looks as though that's a buggy setup too. The router and satellites seem stable finally, but only the router appears to be taking on WiFi clients, which makes this less useful. So, I've ordered a second Ubiqiuiti router, and will go with that to extend our WiFi instead. Any questions, happy to answer them, even if it's from the company. I learned that the built-in Disney Circle functionality is a "freemium" model, where you'd have to subscribe monthly to get the same functionality of having a standalone Circle device. Support was very helpful, get points for 24/7 availability, but during the daytime west-coast it took an hour on hold to reach them.

Great wifi system for large homes
We installed an ORBI mesh wifi system in our vacation home which is quite large and spread out. It worked beautifully and greatly improved the speed and strength of the wi fi signal even in far corners of the property. So we ordered another one for our primary home which is large but more compact, spread over three floors. It was quick and easy to install (an hour) and is working great. I do not have any experience yet with technical support as we have not needed any. The ORBI app is a neat tool to monitor the system.

This system not only increased the speed of the internet but now we can get signal and good internet through out the house
We bought this three pack for a home in Mexico with concrete walls and slow internet. This system not only increased the speed of the internet but now we can get signal and good internet through out the house. It is almost 5000 square feet. Set up was cake.

Really easy set-up, seamless wirless across 3 floors and out to pool with router and two satellites. And very good parental controls, easy to customize. Phone app gives me quick control including ability to disconnect each device individually from the web.
