Best Omega juicer so far.
Definitely the best juicer by Omega so far. Easy to assemble, clean, no stuck pieces inside the shoot. I have been using only Omega slow RPM juicers for the past 16 years and they are awesome. This one takes the crown. Plus you can fill up the shoot with you fruit or veggies, turn it on and keep cutting more, if you want to make a large batch. I always make at least a quart or half gallon, since it is good for 72 hours.

Best juicer ever
I have lived to see the day when there is no more standing and scrubbing and scrubbing the metal strainer, and digging and digging out pulp from the pulp chutes. I feel so advanced. It is so easy to disassemble and wash! This works excellently. Just note these types of juicers require hard chunky veggies to be juiced along with leafy vegetables as the leafy greens never juice well on their own. I can put the veggies in the in the top and go clean the kitchen while it juices on its own. The best juicer ever !

Nice juicer
I really like this juicer. I got this as a Christmas present. Easy to use, easy to clean. I like how it doesn’t have any sharp parts. So I’m okay if my 13 year old makes orange juice and then washes it. I don’t like pulp and I think this makes perfect pulp free juice. It also does a good job with waste, not much at all. Overall great juicer!

Clogs, wastes produce, too much foam
Returning this unit due to clogging, excessive foaming and costing me money in wasted produce. I was hoping this machine would be better than my horizontal juicer (omega 8006HDC) for larger batches of leafy greens and it’s not. The hole is so small for the pulp that it clogs, despite cutting veggies super small (no bigger than 3-cm or 1-inch per instruction manual). See photo of clogged hole. A penny cannot even fit through the hole. Dumb design. Plus, the amount of foam is ridiculous. You have to empty foam out of the container before you can finish juicing a batch. It takes longer than 30 minutes (limit per instruction manual) to juice because you have to keep opening the lid and moving the greens to the bottom, even though I added heavy items on top of greens (as suggested in the manual). At 30 minutes you can smell the motor heating up. After my last juicing, I had to toss about 3-4 cups of mulched, foamy, warm spinach, cucumber and dandelion greens (see photo of how much was left in the hooper). I had better luck with carrots, but still too much foam. This costs twice ($549) what my Omega 8006HDC cost ($255 on sale) and, in my opinion, is not worth the extra money. Even the cleanup - easier to clean, but then you need a lot of time and space for these parts to air dry because of all the nooks and crannies where water gets in but you can’t reach with a towel.

Best juicer ever!
I juice 40 to 60 lbs of carrots and beets a month. This is my second juicer, wore out my first one after a year and this is a replacement. No, this is a huge upgrade! I can juice 15 lbs, clean up all under an hour. Doesn't require a lot of pre-prep cutting. There is no mesh screen to clean and makes clean up a snap. This model is 4 times pricier than my first inexpensive model, but worth every penny. Now I don't dread juicing. Love that you can walk away and do other things while it juices and having a shutoff for the juice is super helpful too. This deserves a 5 star rating. And forgot to mention it is fairly quiet.

Mostly Awesome
I bought this as an upgrade for my Omega J8006. I found I was using it less and less as I didn't have time prep the veggies and push them through the narrow chute one by one. In this respect, this unit totally rocks! It holds a whole apple, beet and other veggies just need one cut in half. No more feeding through the narrow chute, just put the items in and walk away. It is also super quiet and clean up is a breeze. The only cons are that I thought the receptacle would be larger so I could make 2 12 oz juices at once. The second con is that the pulp is pretty wet, so the yield in my opinion is not as high as it could be. That being said this is a HUGE improvement and I use it every day now.

was great at first...
at first, I saw this as a big time saver over the horizontal unit. But after a few months (bought from Omega June 2024) the yield is about half of what it was. I know a stalk of celery can vary... I am using multiple instances as reference. The biggest thing I notice is it barely expels any pulp. it all gets caught up in the machine and just doesn't go out. nothing preventing it, but for some reason just does not expel it - and does not juice well as a result, I guess? easier than the horizontal... but no where near as good. and the horizontal is not perfect. I am usually a pretty generous reviewer, but I find the replacement parts ($65 for a plastic collar, for example) are priced absurdly high.. and they original parts just arent' holding up (as evidenced by the lack of yield and lack of expressed pulp). Customer serice has been difficult to contact and slow with support. I am an Omega juicer for probably 20 years. Pretty disappointed.

Honestly guys I absolutely LOVE this juicer… everything about it! I had it going in less than 5 minutes from opening the box - it’s soo easy to use. I’ve always wanted to juice years ago but the thing that held me back was the thought of cutting produce into small pieces and cleaning the unit. With this Omega, I pretty much cut things in half and throw it all in and walk away.. it’s that easy! The pulp comes out super super dry so I know I’m getting the max juice possible. The juice is vibrant and very high quality. Best part for me is it is sooo simple to clean… you just rinse the parts which takes all about 4-5 min. I don’t even have to use the brush it came with. After a week of juicing I already feel the effects!!! I’m so happy.. I have way more energy and my friends have said to me that they can tell a difference in my skin and hair already! You won’t be disappointed with this unit!!! I highly recommend it.. especially if you were considering getting the Nama J2.. in my opinion this one is better.. no screens to brush n clean. No duties/taxes for Canadians (Nama J2 $100+ extra) - just get it

I expected that, a kitchen appliance should be a little bit waterproof. How can it say in the instructions manual not to have water splash on the product body? This is kind of an inevitable occurrence in any family kitchen. It even says not to use it if juice splashes on it. Stuff like “have dry hands before you pull out plug from the outlet to prevent electric shock” concerns me. Also in the manual it says: - Do not use it for more than 30 minutes? - Do not control the power button with wet hands. POWER BUTTON? I mean I am concerned that one day I might forget and just try to turn it off while my hands are wet. - also I do not feel like it’s really is an easy prep machine when it says in his instructions to remove all hard unchewable seeds from citrus fruits like lemons. I just want to slice my lemon into half and just threw it into the juicer like the nama J2, that’s why I bought this effortless batch juicer. In addition, ginger is one of my favourite things to juice. The instructions say to peel the outer skin of ginger and cut it into small pieces. no way! How is this effortless? For leaf and stem vegetables, it says that you we should cut the ingredients into three CM or shorter pieces for extraction. I have not used it yet and I think that I am going to return it because I want something that I will enjoy to use, and it’s effortless, an appliance that is not scared of a little splash of water. One that will last in my kitchen and I feel safe using it around my children.

This juicer went smooth at beginning, after about 6 or 7 months, it started stuck a bit, it’s time consuming to take fruits, veges out, then started over again, after one year and a half, it broke down. I remember I started using Omega juicer since around1995, then at that time Omega juicers were all made in the US, it was among most trusted juicers, especially with motors which never broke down from experience, this was why I bought this Omega for $724, it was made in Korea. Due to the juicer broke down, I emailed the Omega customer service, so far it’s in the warrant process, hope they would stand up for their brand, solve it asap. will update the progress. Update: omega has done warranty replacement very well, I would certainly buy omega again!

I just received this juicer a few days ago but I am already in love. It is a great alternative to the nama J2 for us Canadians. So far I have juiced carrots, oranges, ginger, spinach, celery, lemon, and cucumber and it has handled it all perfectly. It is very quiet and not as slow as I expected. It has very few pieces and it is very easy to clean. A couple of things to note if you are considering getting this juicer, it does tend to have a bit more pulp in the juice (you can strain this out if it bothers you) and leafy greens can get stuck if you do not have some heavier fruits or veggies on top.
